福居ショウジン監督作品「でれない」を映像素材として使用した楽曲の即興映画的アプローチ
sight296の曲のひとつに、福居の自作品「でれない」を映像素材として使用したものがある、その楽曲の映像は、いわゆる「ライブで映像を操作する」既存のVJとは全く異なる方法論で演奏されている。
既存のVJは、ライブの雰囲気にマッチした映像をセレクトするに留まるのに対して、この楽曲は「映画の即興」という点からのアプローチが存在している。
この楽曲では、映画「でれない」の編集する前の２つの素材映像（青年の部屋のパートと二人の女性が部屋で怪談話をするパート）を、異なるチャンネルで再生しつつ、リアルタイムで加工・スイッチングする、２つの異なるシークエンスがひとつに統一されていく。この操作は映画における編集に該当する。つまり編集の即興、映画の即興という見方をすることができる。
