The skaven are one of the best fictional creatures ever because they thread the line between being funny as hell and an actual threat. If they agreed to cooperate the world would end tomorrow but they will rather kill themselves in increasingly stupid and comedic ways than agree with each other. They use radiactive magical heroin as currency, energy source and food, their god will let them do whatever they want as long as he finds it funny. They fight medieval peasants with nukes and genetically engineered soldiers and somehow they still lose. Thanquol did more harm to the skaven race than their enemies ever could and he's both denying this fact and agreeing with it, it only depends on who's asking. Their entire society is powered by slave labour and the colour green and they have access to immortality potions made out of slave labour and the colour green. Queek and Ska's bromance is so unskavenlike that it keeps them alive in spite of a dozen assassination attempts. There are rat ninjas working on the downfall of the government. Ignoring them is the most effective form of defense because if they don't have a threat to unite against they will literally self destruct.

I wish we had more books about them, I want to know what else they are up to.
