Back Again!

Hello my lovelies! It's been a few years, time to check back in and make sure everything is still working for anyone who's still here. If there are any broken links or anything else that needs fixing please let me know and I'll see what I can do. There were some lovely notes from last time I checked in and then ran away. Thank you for those, they made me quite happy. I see I might have a few sigil requests in my notes and comments. I'll check those out and maybe make some if they seem like they might still be relevant. I've opened the ask box again so feel free to send a message if you need anything.

Hi. Nothing special, just wondered how are you nowadays? I wanted to thank you for your content and the work you show in your blog; they helped me greatly in many aspects of my life.

Hello! That's so nice of you to ask. I'm doing really well. I've always struggled with anxiety but the last couple of years have been figuring out how to deal with it better. I love my job, I get to work with little kids and they are always so much fun. One little 6 year old made up a joke for me. (Why did the teenagers cross the road?... To get a milkshake.) It is not at all funny, and yet is a perfect answer! It's my favorite joke now. I'm making lots of my own art and am learning how to make all sorts of candies just for fun. My sour lemon taffy was a big hit with my friends. Yeah, life is going well. I feel very lucky and grateful. I'm so glad you found my blog helpful. I really enjoyed making all those sigils and am always very happy when people find comfort and help with them.

Ok. You amaze me. I asked for a sigil to live with my husband in Oregon. June 15th - our visa said 8 months until approval. July 12 - it says 4 weeks!!!!

Idk if this is weird but i never charge your sigils and they always work for me

I just draw them and put them on the back of my phone case. I believe the energy from the symbol does all the work.

Actually, putting them on your phone can be a way to charge them. But I'm glad you've found what works for you. That's what's important.

What's the best way to use a sigil for depression/anxiety?

The best way could be different for each person and situation. Personally what I like to do is find a way to charge it that brings you happiness or comfort. For example I find fire calming and enjoy watching it, so I might use the traditional method of burning the sigil. For social anxiety type ones I have drawn them on a paper or sometimes on my arm, somewhere I can use my finger to either just tap on it or trace over the lines of it. Little fidgety movements like that help my brain focus on something else, instead of whatever is freaking me out. Writing it on a little worry stone to keep in your pocket and rubbing it would work too. You could place it in front of a speaker and play your favorite music. So basically, my advice is to find something that you already know is comforting and work the sigil into whatever process that is.

And of course, if things are bad, please don't just try sigils, but look for help from doctors or therapists, or something. Even just talking to friends or loved ones to start with. <3
