The taste of the milk pudding Orihime ate just the other day became so unforgettable for her that she wanted more of it. It was a good thing that she was on her way to the grocery. She smiled to herself and hummed while she walked.
“Ah, that milk pudding was so good. I wish they have it in this grocery,” Orihime murmured to herself, trying to remember how the dessert tasted. She giggled and felt excited to get a hold of another cup. Maybe she could just have it as her dinner instead. Her eyes lit up at the idea and spun around mid-walking. After a few minutes, Orihime found the entrance of the grocery and immediately looked for the aisle where the pudding could be found.
Before finding the right aisle, Orihime already put the things she needed for the next two weeks. Pushing the cart towards the direction of where the milk pudding is, she noticed someone standing not far from it. She blinked thinking that they looked familiar. Stopping in front of the shelf that displayed an array of pudding. She smiled to herself and tiptoed to get one, but another hand tried to take the one she wanted. Orihime looked up and saw him looking at her too.
She blinked at him at his question. For some unknown reason, she felt her head nodding. There was something familiar about the boy’s face. Orihime ended up staring at him for a little while and looked up at the pudding she was trying to reach. Her cheeks felt warm, feeling shy that he had to do it for her. As she took the pudding, Orihime bowed to him. But without thinking about the cart in front of her, she ended up hitting her forehead on the handle of the pushcart.
Orihime straightened herself up, tears welling up on the brims of her eyes. Not wanting to be a burden to the boy, she swallowed the pain and just laughed nervously at him. “Haha! I am so silly!” her cheeks reddened and all she wanted at that moment is to disappear. Ah, this is so embarrassing!
At seeing the poor girl hit her head off the cart’s handle, his hands immediately went up as if to ask: are you okay? Tamaki wasn’t sure what to do about that, because normally he’s the one who smacks his head off things. After a few seconds of recovering from the shock of the moment, he decides that maybe it would be best if he just... scoots the cart away from her, just a bit. That smack she took looked like it hurt -- should he get her ice, or something? Ah, well - she also looked like she could use some cheering up. That was his job, wasn’t it? To make people smile!
“ -- Did’ya know you can put hot sauce on pizza and it apparently tastes good? ” Using his skills as an MC, he decided to prompt the girl with a rather out of the blue question. He wasn’t the best at it -- that was more of his team mate, Mitsuki, who was well known for talking. Tamaki, on the other hand, is better at answering simple questions or talking about things he likes. It didn’t mean he couldn’t take the role if it was absolutely necessary, though!
“ Ah - sorry, sorry. You just looked like you could use a pizza to cheer up. What’s your favorite topping? ” If anyone had asked him, it would be pepperoni. It was a classic, after all -- but it seems that he had ended up distracting himself. This would be why he isn’t allowed to MC in the first place ( too dumb for his own good ! ).
