“Fandral?” Sigyn asked, wrapping her robe around herself as she looked out at the swordsman standing outside her door. She had moved into a small home out in the Asgardian countryside, wanting to get away from the city. It was raining, pouring buckets, actually, but not with a ferocity that would make her contact Thor and ask if he was feeling okay. No, this was a regular thunderstorm.

“What are you doing here?” She asked, “Get inside before you drown.” She moved aside to allow him entrance, going to the fireplace and stoking it a little to get the fire burning again, trying to warm the house up for him.

He ate with vigor, but only because he had to be leaving soon for he had been expected at the palace yesterday. “Could I unexpectedly visit again, Sigyn?” The swashbuckler mentioned offhandedly. His eyes did not leave his empty plate and he chewed the last bit of breakfast meat slowly.

“Of course you may.” Sigyn said, “I’ve little to do now on my own, so I’m more often here than not. Should you find yourself out in the middle of the countryside, you will be welcome.”

"I promise, never again." (i couldnt just one)

“My dear, we both know that is a lie.” Sigyn said, “You have said this many times before and each time you have broken that promise. I would be a fool to expect you to hold true to your word now.”

“It shall have to suffice entirely.” Sigyn said, “For my opinions and my beliefs are certainly not going to change in the near or distant future.” She spared the other woman a half a seconds glance, quickly seeing how she was regarding her.

Her lips twitched upwards just slightly, despite the unamused expression she was trying to maintain. “You are an incredibly stubborn woman, has anyone ever told you as such?”

"Many, many times, my dear." Sigyn said, the corners of her lips tugging upwards just a little bit. "It doesn't seem to be unbearable, though: you're still here."

So here we are, four months and six hundred and fifty followers later, and I’m honestly overwhelmed by all the support I’ve had since starting this blog. Iðunn is the little muse that could, and playing her is honestly the most fun I’ve had on Tumblr in a long time. I’ve met so many wonderful people, in character and out.
