My five festival survival tips

1: A jumper and tights/jeans- you may think you’re heaps cute in the boiling sun during the day, wearing “cheeky” highwaisted shorts, but festivals can go until midnight and it gets awfully cold. And I know I sound like your mum but they put up the price of a hoodie to like 100 bucks because drunk kids will pay anything to be warm and the seller knows it.

2: sunscreen. Just fucking wear it.

3: hand sanitizer. No I’m not one of those germ-ophobic people but once you see the portaloo toilets, you’ll regret not bringing it.

4: Baby wipes. It sounds stupid but you will need them for when mosh pit mud flies into your eye and the only thing you have to wipe it out with is your clothes and hands which are also covered in mud. Also handy when every single toilet is out of toilet paper within the first hour of the festival. Gross I know but you need to know these things.

5: covered shoes. preferable water proof ones (example: gumboot doc Martins.)Theres nothing worse then slipping around in sandals or thongs in the mud and then having a metal head stamp on your toes with they’re huge studded boots.

My tips seem lame but Just listen! or don’t and make the mistakes I’ve had to learn from and then realise “wow that tumblr bitch was right”
