i still can’t believe this happened.

there are honestly no words. during soundcheck, my girlfriend held up a poster that resulted in fifth harmony singing happy birthday to me. when ally asked me how old i was and i told her 29, none of them believed me and they told me i look so good. in the meet and greet, i said “thank you for singing happy birthday to me. i’ve been waiting four years to tell you girls how much you’ve helped me in my self-harm recovery, especially since my dad died.” and dinah immediately grabbed my hand and told me that i didn’t look 29 and that i was so lovely and she held onto my hand until she had to let go. i asked lauren for a hug and got one, then dinah grabbed me for one and normani and ally (who even kissed my cheek) and then camila hugged me so tight and said “happy birthday honey” even as security was griping at me to get moving (i literally only got about 15 seconds with them.)

i don’t have many photos from the show because i was so focused on actually watching from that front row spot i had, you know? it was the best day of my life, by far, and i got to share it with my girlfriend and my best friend and that made it even more amazing. plus, my girlfriend met jojo and jojo told her to tell me she says hi. i also met victoria monét after her set and she loved my hair, and i love her.

i’ve been at a stall on anything i’ve been working on due to some real life things (today would have been my dad’s birthday and he passed a few years ago and then i’m driving to vegas tomorrow for the weekend) but i should have sometime at all done in a few days

trust me, i will. my best friend is coming down from nevada and we have front row tickets and soundcheck and meet and greet and i have literally been a fan of these girls since their individual auditions and this is the first time i've gotten a chance to see them live so it's a big deal. i plan on making a huge post about it.

maybe u could write a Laucy one shot: Lucy knew about Lauren going to the strip club with Normani but gets angry/insecure when she hears about Lauren turning up to sound check late in the same clothes as the night before and bc she reads that she didn't go back to the tour bus.Lauren gets frustrated bc they are in different States and internet gossip is making Lucy insecure and maybe they talk and solve things through text/facetime or maybe Lauren shows up in New Orleans and at Lucy's apartment.
