Silver's got a form of dyslexia whereas he mixes up the lowercase letters 'b' & 'd' and either form of 'm' and 'w'. It hasn't ever affected him very much since he was little and just learning to read, but it does run him into some problems now and then. Signs, medicine stickers, text messages and books are all that really brings this problem to attention on a day to day basis.

As a teenager, Silver had terrible trouble with acne, stress, depression and sleep insomnia. It's more than a little obvious, though --- he's homeless, basically. Back then he had no experience, no consistency, and definitely went long times without such things as showers and sleeping at a time. Food and money, those were easy to steal; though a resting spot was not. He couldn't risk much of anything, not having his pokeballs thieved, not being found by a rocket grunt, and definitely not being recognized by police of any kind.

He has a lot of money now, and thus can afford the essentials such as an occasional motel, food, clothes, thankfully showers --- though there's always nights where he finds himself restlessly staring at the ceiling or stars, either lucidly dreaming or not dreaming at all.
