//You might have noticed a slowness which is going to continue into the next month or so (And a little time after). I’m currently stressing (As always) over getting a place to live for my new job and dealing with all the things that go along with that.

//Also starting August 4th is the beginning of my vacation hell. I’ll be with family for the first two days, then heading down to Maryland to go to the beach with my friend and … people she knows for four days. THEN. ON AUGUST 10TH. I shall be in DC for OTAKON. (If you’re going you should hmu)

//I start my new job August 14th at 8AM for orientation and then training starts the next day. I’ll be still getting used to my schedule while also feeling out for how cool it is to use your phone when you’re not busy. I’ll have a better idea of all of this after.. a week or two.

      “ As am I. I must admit, it is not often I have had enough free time to even think back on how it once was. It is a nice reminder on why it is I do what I do now. ” She spoke lightly. Of course, she was left missing the good old days, when her biggest concern was simple tasks around Zora’s Domain and making sure she could get time to spend with Link WITHOUT Kodah trying to snatch all of his attention. Much simpler times it was. 

      “ I believe the memories to come will be far greater than the memories of the past. We will make this future worth all of this effort. And then, we will have new memories to reminisce over. ”

      That was an exciting thought as well. The new memories she hoped to make– with HIM specifically. Even bad memories would eventually turn to sweetness to help shape them further— of this she was certain. After a moment, the Zora’s eyes gazed outwards towards the waterfalls behind them. 

      “ Do you remember our little hiding spot? Where we would meet so that Muzu couldn’t drag me back to lessons? I have not gone there in awhile, it did not feel right without you. ”

[He almost caught me heading towards it once. Gave me an earful trying to find out where you had gone. I’m pretty sure he still has no idea how close he was to finding that place.]

Link remembers how flustered he had been that day, so worried that their secret hideaway would have been found out and the time he was able to spend with Mipha in private be diminished. Thank Hylia that Muzu had just taken it as his usual response to being interrogated by the Zora advisor.

[Do you want to head over to it? It’s been ages.] He’s pretty sure he remembers the way, though it’s entirely possible for the Hylian to forget a few details. After all, the time he spent in Zora’s Domain had decreased drastically since he first became a knight all those years ago.

      Sidon took a moment to think back. He knew he HAD met them, but had he met them enough for them to have TRULY left a mark on him? After all, Link was around when he was a child and he BARELY remembered him. But– that wasn’t really what Link was asking, was it? The Zora gave a light shrug, looking back out over the water once more, a new stone in his grasp.

      “ Hmm… Well, I DID. However, it was not more than BRIEF meetings. I was often too ANGRY with Mipha leaving with them to fully take time to talk to them. As I was jealous of you taking so much of her time as well. ”He admitted lightly, flicking the stone out over the water. This time, however, it only skipped a few times before sinking into the water. Sidon watched the ripples, a tightness growing in his chest.

      “ I was a spoiled child that did not understand any of this. All I remembered was how the Champions were taking my sister from me. And when the Calamity befell us all and Mipha was lost— I must admit, I blamed them for TAKING her for good. ”

Sometimes it was hard to remember how much time had passed since he had been placed in the Shrine of Resurrection. That Sidon had indeed been much younger at the time, and smaller, than how he was before Link right now. They aren’t call clear but he does remember the small red pup clinging to Mipha’s leg in some memories.

[It’s alright. You were young and it was fair to see it like that without understanding what was going on.] To any small child, the prospect of their sibling always being with a group of people you barely knew could always leave them feeling jealous. Especially when being with that group had played a part of her death, Link doesn’t deny it. If any of them had not been Champions, he’s certain they would have lived longer.

[It’s a shame though, I feel like you would have really liked some of them if you only had the chance to really meet them.] Of course now that chance was lost to them forever. [I like to think you would have enjoyed meeting Daruk, he’s a lot like you when I think about it.]

        ❛   Does this horse belong to you ?   ❜      He’s far more fascinated by the steed rather than the knight. He has to ask though, for it’s only proper. His own stallion, Baron, lingers in the distance, grazing on healthy bits of grass, pausing only to check on his rider before returning to the  important  task at hand.

If there was one thing where Noah bested Primrose, it was that the stallion was a lot easier to manage when grooming. Noah had never moved at all until their fellow knight came up. The stallion nudged his face into Link to push him away from his current duty in order to address the newcomer.
