I'm not sure if I should call this an AU... I sometimes imagine Stephen as a collection of data, an image (metaphorically). His physical body will perish, but in the spiritual world, he's unkillable. His thoughts and ideas will continue to spread and diffuse in some form.

(So I drew this. The scene after a shooting in the spirit world. Afterwards he would smile and return to his normal appearance.)
