Time has changed and evolved for the better. I remember exactly 26 years ago when I felt something different. I was in my 3rd grade, crushing and liking a girl in my class. It was a perplexed feeling. I was scared and felt so alone in my life. Fast track to my 20s when I fell in love with my bestfriend and we were in a relationship which ended after 5 years due to societal pressures and it ruined us. Came to hiding for the next 8 years or so.

My point is, I am just so happy that there is Chappell who is just so proud. What I am feeling is beyond any words. That from this moment on, there is someone who is standing up and reminding young girls to be proud. She validates them and I really hope this trend becomes the norm. #My younger self is healing right now.
