The corruption of most children is only because of their fathers and their negligence and by not teaching them the obligations and recommendations of the religion.
Ibn al-Qayyim, Tuhfatul Mawduud #229
Ibn Hibban said:
“It is incumbent on the intelligent (and wise person) to (maintain the need of) remaining silent than having to speak. Because much remorse lies in uttering speech, while there’s less regret if one is silent. People’s misery is lengthened and greatly afflicted by their calamitous tongues… “
[Rawdatul ‘Uqala’ (1/47)]
Shaykh Muqbil ibn Hādī al-Wādiʿī (رحمه الله) said: “I advise the student of knowledge to keenly acquire books, even if he has to sell his car or his imāmah [i.e. his turban] to purchase a book [because] one book is equivalent to this world!”

Assalamu aleykum warahmatullaahi wabarakatuh Akhawaatfillaah 🖤,
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
I know theres a lot of sisters out there that have no support from family or friends and have no one around them that can listen to their struggles, advice them and support them through hardships. Sadly many of us have the western mentality that it's me myself and I, which is why we see a lot of depression and anxiety amongst ourselves. This is corrupting our society, many reverts and sisters that are practicing feel lonely because of this.
There's a sister may Allaah preserve her, that have created a salafi support groupchat on whatsapp, the aim is to support salafi sisters, weather it be through hardships or happiness, we need to strengthen the sisterhood and this is a good start in sha Allaah.
If anyone is interested don't hesitate to Dm me in sha Allaah, please do share this post and let sisters know that there are sisters out there that are willing to help and support each other. All salafi sisters are welcome and you don't have to be going through a hardship to join.
Baarakallaahu feekom.
"If a person has hayā', then the ingredients for goodness are present, but if a shameless person persists upon obscenity, then goodness is absent and the pervasiveness of wickedness is present.
Hayā' acts as an obstacle between a person and every impermissible act. Therefore, a strong hayā' weakens the draw to commit sinful acts, but a weak hayā' strengthens those desires. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If a persons hayā' is firm, his dignity will be preserved and his goodness will be well known. But whoever's hayā' departs will lose his happiness."
[Rawdah Al-Uqalā wa Nuzhah al-Fudalā p33, by Abū Hātim ibn Hibbān (D.354AH)]
“There is NO group by the name of ‘Wahhābīs’ on the FACE of EARTH, however it is a label INVENTED by the Mubtadiʿah (innovators) and they apply it to EVERYONE who SINGLES OUT Allāh ʿAzza Wa Jall for worship and FOLLOWS the SUNNAH of Prophet — Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam — and AVOIDS Bidʿa and newly invented affairs (in Deen) just like the MUSHRIKEEN who used to give distasteful names to the Messenger of Allāh — Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam — in order to TURN people away from him!!”

Im realizing more and more how evil these platforms are, we can't escape from the fitnah. Twitter is probably the most decent one out of them.
We're wasting a lot of time when we could've used that time to study the deen of Allaah, and being with our families and helping them etc. But ofcourse reading a book or helping your family will be boring when there's so much going on on social media.. Subhan'Allaah. Our brain is being fed with a lot of filthy things and we don't even realize it.
And the sad thing is that parents are giving their children a smartphone at a young age.
