Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈
Endlessly diabolical how you can't say words like rape and suicide uncensored without either being criticised by idiots or punished by conglomerates.
It's not r*pe, it's rape. It's not su*cide, it's suicide. Not unalive, dead. The backbone needs to be reintroduced en masse because softening the blow of these concepts with advertising language does absolutely nothing but allow people unaffected by them to feel not even a sting of what they can do, prompting inaction.
And it's been proven that on certain websites, you don't even face a repercussion for using the words as they are. People just started censoring themselves because they feared the potential lack of views and likes and followers which is so nasty itself.
I attended an anti-suicide seminar in college. One of the big takeaways from it was that stigmatizing suicide increases the rate of suicide, because people who are feeling suicidal feel like they can't ask for help. Every time I see babytalk garbage like 'unalive', I think of that.
Use the real words. Words have power, and they matter.

Literally the definition of imperialism and classism. Doesn’t matter how many peasants you sacrifice as long as the most powerful piece is left standing
Proximity of bishops to the rulers promotes theocratic oppression
the horse is so fuckable
I went to google The Ghoul from Fallout for image references for my next drawing and typed in The Ghout by mistake and all I could think of was that episode of King of the Hill where Bobby gets gout.
I guess it’s from eating all those organ meats on account of the cannibalism? 🤷♂️
Okay here’s a more detailed version.

‘A Rolex on your wrist, brown onion, yes, melanin for the winnin’. Rosemary. Why God must have delivered those oils himselves. The peas take a bath. The break. The cut. The purée. Thank you for straining that. Why, livers, yes, the neighbors of the lungs. People sleep on livers; I prefer mines in brown gravy, drenched over a bed of white rice. The way you folded that into the flour: delivered by the angels. You have laid the liver to rest in a skillet of hot oil. The vampires are shooketh. The garlic is overpowering. Be careful; methheads see that torch and they’re gonna go crazy. Artwork on a plate. It feels as though I’m preparing myself for an interview with Hannibal Lecter. The wine is always decadent. You, sir, have misbehaved’
