Even though Autumn still spent most of her time hiding out in her room â or what used to be her room â sometimes she still felt the need to walk around. However, she tended to keep to the quieter parts of the house, not wanting to see anyone she wasnât ready to see yet, despite the fact that she was invisible to them.Â
The girl was right outside the library when she heard a loud noise coming from it. Carefully, she stepped into the doorway to see what had happened. Upon seeing Francis, apparently frustrated about something, Autumn stood there for a moment, trying to decide whether or not she wanted to talk to him. Taking a deep, although unnecessary, breath, she stepped through the threshold of the door and into the room, stopping a little distance away from him. âAre you alright?â She asked quietly, making herself visible to him.
The pain that shot through his hand caused the older man to groan--shaking his hand out to hopefully get rid of the pain. A small sense of shame worked into his mind at his foolish action. It wasn't until he heard a voice that Francis looked up, his eyebrows shooting up at the sight of the sorority girl he had just been thinking about. A small puff of air left his nose as he stared--almost wanting to wipe his eyes and see if she was actually there. "That depends. Are you?" He asked after a few moments had passed.
