His tail twitches and swishes about behind him. He's on high alert. His knuckles graze against some small pebbles. The feeling is enough to keep him grounded, at least. NOT too bad that he'd be reacting instead of taking it easy.

"M'......" not human. He's learned that earlier when under Bentley and learned more being under Monkey King.

"Sun. My name is Sun....And...and I don't know. I don't know what I am. What are you?"

For a brief instant Seluna's eyes focus on his tail; body language isn't the same for all creatures with a tail, but if he's anything close to a pray animal, it's clear he's very nervous about her presence.

Seluna let's out a sigh, takes a step back and hides her clawed hand in her pockets. She doesn't blame him for being on alert, although it never fails to hurt her a little.

"My name's is is Seluna and I'm a werewolf, it's nice to meet you." She pauses a moment, smiling with closed lips to not intimidate him further with her fangs. "Worry not, I don't like eating people."

"Oh its no problem. I just don't like thieves as a rule."

he takes, and takes and takes. Most likely he'll take something from the thief later before he calls the cops. Every moment was important but he makes sure to get at least some money from this whole ordeal.

"Do you have a phone I can use? It would be easier to call the police to get them right now."

An embarrassed laughter escapes Seluna at his comment about not liking thieves. Good thing he's never met her when she was a lonely kid with no other means of survival, but that's a time long past. She needn't doing any of that anymore.

At his request of lending him her phone, she tilts her head to the side, a little confused.

"Haven't you gotten a device with your arrival at the island"

Maybe those running the place forgot to give him one, who knows? Seluna doesn't ponder about it too much, and hands her own to the kind stranger. "Here you go!"

"...!" She smells---, "You sme--Smell funny." And dangerous. He isn't sure if he's scared or not. Would Monkey King be scared? Probably not. Monkey King was the bravest he knew.

Still....Sun can't say he's a fan of canines, particularly. She smells like a canine.

A big silly pout forms on Seluna's face at the stranger's comment, small pointed ears twitching just slightly in annoyance. That was just rude!

"Well, you don't smell quite human either!"

Truth be told, she doesn't recognize what kind of creature he is either; definitely something she's never met before and, thankfully for him, curiosity replaces her anger quickly.

"What's your name? And what are you?"

Inactivity, lax power. Lazy power, its the kind that would get shanked in the back after everything is over. He's not one to dwell on that, never the kind either to go back to such power. He controls every movement his people make, and the world is better for it.

"Klay, Klay Arslan. Perhaps keep this between us, I rather not be known as someone who beats up thieves out in the open."

"Klay..." she repeats, smile unwavering while she lets her mind memorize his name. After a moment she adds; "I'm Seluna!"

Her eyes move down a moment to the poor fella that's just been beaten up by her new friend-- usually she can smell them before they get too close, but maybe the scent of flowers carried by spring's air had her too distracted. Anyhow, she walks around the thief to offer Klay a clawed hand to shake.

"How about being known as a gentleman helping unaware joggers? Thanks about that, anyway!"

"Ah, exercising every now and then does good for the body." or rather Klay had laid the beat down on several people who attempted to rob him and his fellow innocent bystander. it was of course the ease in which he beated everyone that spoke of experience.

Seluna turns around when a voice reaches her, towel pressed against her cheek to damp her sweat. She wasn't doing anything special, really-- just some stretching to help her muscle relax after jogging around the housing blocks.

She welcomes the stranger with a sharp-toothed smile.

"Absolutely, but I do it because staying still for long drives me insane, rather than for health reasons," she admits, putting the towel around her neck while properly facing the man. "I don't think I caught your name...?"

"... This is kind of embarrassing," Seluna admits, sitting on the stool in the nurse's office while she lets the kid dab her bruised knuckles with disinfectant, which earns him a pained hiss.

"I can treat my bruises myself, y'know," she protests, showing her other bandaged hand-- which, by the look of it, might need a new dressing.

The truth is, she panicked outside the campus. When she saw a group of troublemakers circling Sephirot to take advantage of a younger student, she feared for a moment that it might have something to do with the disappearances. So she jumped in, lashed out and started a brawl. Thankfully nobody got hurt badly but now she has to hope that it wont cost her her job.

"What about you, anyway?" she asks, trying to shift her focus on the boy. "They didn't hurt you, did they?"

- ex ophiuco U student and now part of the staff! to match her druid and healer background i think the right modern day equivalent would be being a nurse in the local infirmary

- very feisty for medical staff, she gets in fights often outside campus and presents herself covered in bandaids even when wearing the white coat

- always has candies with her for the younger students who might need some comfort

- runs and shouts in the halls like a damn kid, habit she never lost since her student days

“Oh! Uh... thanks...” Till accepts the flower with a pink face and a shy expression.

“Red flowers are my favorite. ‘S nice they get a whole holiday basically t’ themselves...”

Till nuzzles the rose’s petals against his cheek to feel their velvety texture before looking at her again timidly. He’d only just learned about the origin of this holiday and its primary meaning in this world a few hours ago... Is it possible that this woman doesn’t know?

“Um... Aren’t ya worried that, like, people are gonna think you’re asking ‘em to date you or anythin’? ...Uh, unless you’re trying t’ get a couple dozen dates, I mean! In which case... g-good for you?”

Seluna's clawed fingers let go of the rose as the young man takes it to himself, her smile getting brighter while she flashes him with a wink.

"You're welcome!"

"If you like them so much I can give you more, I don't mind!"

Him pressing the flower against his cheek has her staring at him with curiosity, all while breathing through her nose to better memorize his scent; something she often does when meeting new people. Might look a bit weird to someone who doesn't know her nature as a hunter.

"Oh?" His question catches her off guard, making her tilt her head to the side a little. "Actually... no, I'm not! Sure it's a holiday about love, but it doesn't have to be only romantic love! I just want to brighten people's day, 'specially if they're feeling lonely!"

She takes another rose from the bouquet and extends it to him. "But I might as well introduce myself. I'm Seluna!"

hey me and some other mutuals were thinking of having some cookies before dinner, are you badass enough to join us?

She wasn't joking; Seluna actually spent dust to buy a big bouquet of roses, just to hand them to passersby one by one. The things boredom does to a person.

She's already handed out about a dozen of flowers, thirty more of them still resting in her arms, wrapped in pink and white paper to compliment the bright colors of the petals. Seluna is wearing red as well: a skater dress with a simple black leather jacket on top. One would guess she's out on a date as well, but no. She's just giving away flowers.

"... And one for you, too!" she'll say to the next person coming close, fangs on display in the brightest of smiles. She seems to be genuinely enjoying herself, just making other people's day better a little better. "Happy Valentine's day!"
