Pass that thing and watch me flex | Seya | RE: Body Discovery
When the time limit was almost over, Seya had already accepted that they would lose their most precious memories. They had did everything they could to prepare for this moment - meditating in their room, having told Tso about their family, so their friend could remind them… They didn’t regret anything now.
Until a body announcement was made.
Seya sighed in frustration - it had been too much to hope that nobody would fall for this motive, would it? Didn’t anyone else come up with the idea to tell their most precious memories to someone else? Really?
Seya dragged their body to the crime scene, but then stopped dead in their tracks as soon as their eyes were met with a gruesome sight.
Their eyes widened in utter disbelief and shock, all colors drained from their face. Seya was white as a sheet as they simply stared at their friend lying on the cold hard floor. Unmoving. With so much blood.
Why was there so much blood?
This had to be a joke. Some kind of tasteless prank. This couldn’t be reality. Not now, not ever.
Seya opened their mouth, but then closed it, their whole body visibly trembling as they took one step after another. Pushing themself to the lifeless body. Still trying to process what they saw.
Their breaths were shaky as they reached the body, slowing kneeling down besides Tso, their eyes still blank. This… had to be an illusion like all the other victims in the previous games. This wasn’t supposed to happen. They had told their memories to each other, so they could remember, even if they forgot…
Seya was opening their mouth again, this time merely mouthing their friend’s name as they hesitantly stretched their hand out, placing it on the glass harpist’s shoulder and shaking it.
They shook again. Still nothing.
Horror was spreading all over their face, tears starting to well up in their eyes- wait tears? They hadn’t cried so far, they had always remained calm, always patient, just being truly angered once.
They mouthed Tso’s name again, their trembling worsening and their breathing becoming unstable.
The masseuse was such an easy target. Murderers could have surely caught them in the many moments they were actually defenseless, but it never happened. They always got lucky and instead, others had to die…
Silently, tears started to stream down their face, said part twisted in sheer agony. They coughed as they hugged the body close to them, not caring one bit if they got blood on themself. Who cared about such a trivial thing right now? They didn’t, oh my god, they so didn’t care right now.
They had promised to get Tso out of here.
Another godfucking broken promise because of some disgusting human being.
What did I say about being truly angered again? The mun would like to take that back, because boy, between the sadness and shock in their face, there was also…
Someone would pay dearly for this.
The culprit would pay for their crimes. They would never let them get away with this.
They had opened Pandora’s Box.
