Here’s a favourite shot. It was a very convenient log set up. Almost as if the bed and breakfast owners made it especially for modelling atop. Can anybody be bothered figuring out how old the tree was when it was murdered, because I sure can’t.

Somebody restrain me from making this a 100% Sman photobloog!
We may rarely see each other, but it’s been twelve years since we met and every time we do see each other it always feels like home. We always feel the same amount of appreciation, comfort and love for each other that we did in the beginning. She’s an incredibly special lad. She’s helped to shape me into the man I am today in many ways and I love her to smithereens.
My Beloved Sman.
March 14th 2013.
This was the crazy sky at sunset last Friday. It was really eerie weather. Totally calm and humid on the ground with stormy drama in the sky.
I’m a bit pissed with the angle of the first photo. I don’t know what I was thinking but it wound up being the best shot from the front of the car AND I NEEDED TO USE A SHOT FROM THE FRONT OF THE CAR TO SHOW THE RANGE OF SUNSET COLOURS THROUGH THE CLOUDS!
The car’s name is Gus. Gus is good.
I do love Gus.
My Flowery Little Star Nosed Love and His Lemon.
It turns out that my sister's dog really enjoys eating lemons.
February 2nd, 2013.
This is my stepsister’s kitty, Tails. Her name is Tails because her tail has a white ring just before the tip. Tails is 14 and has a raspy voice like a longtime chain smoker. Tails used to have a sister named Sookie who was almost identical bar the tail ring. Sookie was more adventurous than Tails and she got hit by a car four years ago. Tails is regularly bullied by my dad’s dogs, the neighbour’s cat and local possums and lizards. I love Tails.
The sky was pretty at sunset last night. Thanks, atmosphere, for keeping us safe and being so enchanting. Sorry my people use chemicals that put holes in you. I hear we’re working on it.
The more I come back and look at this photo, the prettier I find it. That was a good sunset.
For Laura's Sunday project: A Trip Through My Eyes.
Finally I have something. The view from the side of my dad's house, pointing toward Mount Crawford. The clouds were pretty on that day.
I screen printed Google maps and marked where I took the photo from and what direction I was facing just to entertain myself.
Ruby Ann the Tiny Primate.
AKA Cricket, AKA my dear little niece. Look at her tiny eyes and her tiny nose and her tiny bubbly mouth. What a ridiculous little creature. Such innocence. I hope she finds a nice place in the world for herself.

December 2011.
It was warm enough to stand in the way of the sprinkler today. Not warm enough to plunge my body in and frolic. It was icky and warm but really pretty and cloudy.
So here is my foot print from the sprinkler nonevent. I’ve got a minor case of the sexy Morton’s toe. I also have flat feet but it never looks that way with my footprints because my feet roll outwards. I am not fond of my trotters. I’m irrationally afraid of my own foot germs and I’m always worried about people getting too close … I’m cool.

So here’s one of the photos I took last weekend. My sister and Cricket in the garden. Shah sah beautifah. Cricket’s technically not due until early November but it’s pretty much a matter of any day now. Hopefully soon because she’s so uncomfortable. Never the less she is beautiful.

Cybill Shepherd.
She is my daughter and I love her.

Downward Dog.
It was lovely and overcast today so I decided some doggy photos were to be taken. I don't seem to take photos of much else lately.
Betty loves to point her butt to the sky like this. She's such a little flirt.
Retro Bathroom.
One time, when I was a wee youngin, I needed to pee, so I skipped (I actually skipped, I remember it clearly) to the bathroom and paused on this very spot as I realised I was gazing upon my snoring poppy with his pants around his ankles. Sometimes you've just got to get away, and sometimes the toilet is the best option. Needless to say, I crept back out of the bathroom giggling to myself and attended to my prior activities and I never spoke a word of the incident to anybody until this very moment. It's one of my fondest memories because it really goes to show that my poppy can fall asleep anywhere he sees fit. That man is an inspiration in so many ways and that is one of them.

Hallway of Memory.
I spent a good lot of my childhood roaming these halls. At the visible end of the hallway is the laundry and back door. To the left is what used to be my mum and aunties' bedroom. That's where we all sleep. On the right is the diningroom and ahead to the right is the kitchen. I don't know what's going to happen to this house when nobody lives there. We all want to keep it in the family. I hate thinking about it but it's on all of our minds. I don't know how I'm going to cope.
