Still afraid and mistrustful of the water, people in Flint - who are still forced to use either filtered or bottled water because of damaged water pipes - are bathing less, and refusing to wash their hands.

To anyone worried about this: Variety is full of shit. Ted Sarandos of Netflix has said that “both Symphony and Nielsen claim accuracy” - but that they aren’t actually accurate. He has also said that ratings & viewer numbers aren’t what’s important to them, especially not U.S. only. As an aside, The Get Down has made Tumblr’s Top 20 TV Shows each week.

What she said is what every police officer should keep in mind. Everybody gets scared and everybody fears for life in situations like this, but when you are a police officer, you need to have courage to deal with those situations. What about non-leathal force? What about trying to talk with the person? Seems like police officers have forgotten about what it really means to protect and serve.
