to my Etsy buyers, if you are running into the issue of an item doubling the shipping price because of Etsy’s ridiculous item size calculations, I have opened up the “request a custom order” option on my shop. This allows me to still collect any VAT information I need for international sales but still ensure shipping price remains accurate to the label I will make. cheers🫡

should canadians order from etsy or storenvy? ik the logical answer is probably etsy but ive seen places ask canadians to buy from the US store so i wanted to check. it's also cheaper on the storenvy to canada but idk if that's just bc the shipping is wrong. tysm!!

Hi! It is generally preferable on my end for anyone outside the US to buy through Etsy. However, I have just enabled Canada shipping on my storenvy.

I’m aware of the issue with Etsy occasionally double charging for shipping (creating a separate label for multiple items in the order) and all instances of this have been refunded. I reached out to Etsy to try and get to the bottom of this once and for all and was given absolutely no help by their AI chatbot that sent me in circles with things I was already doing, or telling me I needed to list all of my items at incorrect sizes and weights. I’m quite certain this is why Etsy tries to push so hard for sellers to just offer free shipping so they can effectively wash their hands of this problem, but unfortunately being able to easily include all the importing information still makes it an incredibly useful interface for international shipping.

So! If you place an etsy order and the shipping creates a double label, I will immediately refund it. If you don’t want to go through that, you can also hit the “request custom order” button on my page, and I will work with you to make a custom private listing with your items where I should be able to set the shipping price and still collect whatever information I need for shipping.

I mentioned this in the comments but adding here—I am aware of the Canada Post strike. Since most items are pre-orders they will not be shipping out for some time. If the strike is ongoing when I am ready to ship orders, I will ship via UPS!

How long will items be up for preorder? Any number caps? Much appreciated for the drop, I am so excited!!

Hi! I’ll close orders somewhere between 2-300, but there’s no individual cap on how many types of items someone can order.

The earliest I’ll close is tuesday evening, but I’ll give ample warning before I do!

From there, the bulk of orders will ship in November to allow time for pin and standee pre-orders to arrive, and to give myself time to screen print all garments.
