The altar in my room is coming along nicely! The altar cloth is from the Mishana community in the Peruvian Amazon; the embroidery is embedded with Shipibo icaros. My friend, who spent a few months in Haiti in recent years, gave me the red Vodou candles. The paining is my work. My altar table is a Peavy PA speaker; I invision using it to play healing frequencies during a ritual.

The offering of the impurities, the quieting of the mind, the getting the body calm, the opening of the heart, and the reaching for god. That's the whole trip. That's all there is to it. Very simple.
