The AHCA cuts taxes on people making more than $250,000 a year by $600 billion, and reduces spending on Medicaid and health insurance subsidies for poor and middle class people by around the same amount.
There’s lots of other tweaks to the system involved, most of them for the worse, but that’s actually what this is about. It’s all it was ever about.
Leonard Maltin reviews of the new MST3k movies
So a while back, I posted a list of every MST3k movie Leonard Maltin had reviewed. Since then, of course, we’ve gotten new MST3k movies, so I figured it was time for an update.
Note: I’m actually posting the full reviews (which are still only a few sentences at most), since both the app and the book have been discontinued in the years since I first made the post. Sorry, Len. I wish either one was still around, preferably the app, which has been incredibly useful in a pinch. (And to add insult to injury, because it hasn’t been updated in years, it will be incompatible with iOS 11. Sigh.)
Also, I’m hiding the content because I’m sure there are people who still want to avoid spoilers.
Much as I’d love to try and binge the new MST3k, I realize that I can’t realistically watch all of them in a day. Even taking into account that I’ve seen the first episode, and even assuming that the holiday episode is held off until the holidays, that’s approximately 1,080 minutes of “MST3k.” That’s 18 hours.
That doesn’t leave much room in the day for eating, breathing and other science facts.

Me: Aw, man, seriously?
For those of you who are not excited yet for the MST3K reboot, I dare you to watch this without laughing.

The dilemma
Do I take time off work April 13, to go see RiffTrax Live: Samurai Cop? Or do I take time off work April 14, to stay home and watch new MST3k?
