So I'm basically using this to post things that I like or interest me. So I'll be posting a lot of stuff related to art, music, love, life, and all my other many, many, MANY book, movie and TV interests. Klaus loves Hayley! And it’s not the platonic kind. He honest to God loves her and this episode further proves it. If you disagree with me than you’re wrong and you can catch these hands, esé.

I seriously curse Julie Plec for not giving us more Klopeley scenes. I curse her for waiting until Hayley’s death and the last few episodes of the last season to give us good Klayley scenes.

Dear God did Klaus and Hayley deserve better than what was written.

Anyway WE miss you.

dear klaus, you’d have been proud of hope day.    she’s back home for summer break. i brought her out to the bayou for the crawfish boil, hoping she’d play with the other crescent kids, but when i turned around, she was gone. i found her inside at mary’s bedside, telling her stories and singing to her. sometimes i think about all of the unlikely things that led to her existence– you and i, born a thousand years apart, and all of the petty crap that brought us to that one night in mystic falls. it’s been hard… but the truth is, i watched her curled up next to that dying woman, and i knew i wouldn’t change a thing. in all my life, i’ve never felt lucky before her.

Indirect statements in 5x08

They literally smacked us over the head with how much Klaus loved Hayley last episode.

First Klaus saying Elijah killed Hayley and he’s killing Antoinette and how he wouldn’t want to disrupt that balance.

How is no one going to mention the symbolism of these very direct statements. Elijah killed the woman Klaus loves and so Klaus is taking the woman this pseduo-Elijah loves. Klaus indirectly saying he was in love with Hayley.

Then Kol saying how Elijah killed his wife and saying don’t worry I got her back. But then saying some people aren’t that lucky.

Indirectly talking about Klaus losing Hayley forever. Hayley was Klaus’s wife! Davina turned Kol into a Klayley shipper.

Rebekah basically saying the only reason he didn’t rip Elijah and Hayley apart was because he knew if Elijah loved Hayley he’d never leave him.

We all knew Klaus never shipped Haylijah. He tolerates that shit because he was scared of losing them.

When Klaus told Elijah the reason he loved Hayley.

“Not because of some family obsession but because of her, because she believed in something better for all of us and because she fought for it when we couldn’t.”

Oh Klaus that was just one of the reasons you loved Hayley. Not because she was Hope’s mom or because you considered her family.. But because she fought for you, even when you couldn’t fight for yourself. Klaus projecting his feelings for Hayley onto Elijah , yet again.

Then the last scene which was devastating. Klaus reading those letters and finally letting himself feel how much he loved her. It’s part of why he wanted Freya out of the room so badly. He still to this day doesn’t want anyone to know how much he loves her. Not even himself

I just saw last night episode. I’m so moved, I don’t even know where to start…all the klayley’ flashbacks…it was like way too much for my heart, Hayley said to Klaus some beautiful stuffs. some great stuff!!!

God, did people realize now how much Klaus loved her? And how much Hayley wanted him to be part of their life?

And the letters…this is poetry. When we met Klaus he was keeping letters of the people he killed as a remainder that we are utterly alone and know….a box of letters….by Hayley….he never read them….now those letters are everything: a remainder that he is not alone anymore and that he has to do his best for both of them, Hope and Hayley.

I want to cry. More and more. Hope Andrea Mikaelson? or Klaus apologizing for Hayley’s cruel first death this men is grieving his queen, the mother of his child, a woman he wanted but he didn’t fight for her just to give Elijah something good.

Klayley is such a beautiful story, I still have tears for this episode. I hated everything this season except the way Klaus is keeping Hayley alive in every eps.
