the imposter bodies are so funky. i headcanon that their mostly air, which is why their able to shrink into a crewmates body- while also being slimy like a slug.
this would also explain why they explode in space (air expands in a vacuum, and their mostly air so... POP). their skin is also thin and very absorbent, so salt rips the water from their flesh, causing them to shrivel up and die
Honestly, I think Rebecca would miss Jordan and Marcus, at least a little. In Marcus's case, shes known him for years and they have had happy moments together, so even after everything, I think she'd miss him at least a little bit. And then it's obvious she'd miss Jordan, especially after watching her only REAL friend die.
Here's just the basic lore behind my Actual Kids Show AU series.
Instead of making a kids show like in the actual game series, Amanda the Adventurer was a book series. These were published by the Kensdale Library thanks to Katherine Park, Sam Colton's childhood friend. These books told the story of Amanda and her love to explore. Rather at home or out in her own neighborhood she could always find a way to turn something into an Adventure.
Though it was always Sam's dream to make a TV show he instead kept just focusing on his books. What he didn't predict was that the exact dream would be his own adopted daughter, Rebecca Colton's dream as well.
At the age of 28, Rebecca opened her own studio thanks to the strong community in Kensdale to help fund and support the young Colton's dream. Episodes of Amanda the Adventurer were posted on YouTube for the world to see. All child voice actors are kept anonymous to the public for safety. A legal guardian is always present with these young actors as well.
Ok so I know some people will have questions on how this all actually works and I'll be honest these are concepts. I'm not a writer I just come up with ideas and post them for yal's enjoyment. I'm not all smart when it comes to understanding film industries. So I apologize if this idea seems basic and bland.
Also Actual Kids Show AU may get a name change. Probably to The Adaptation AU. Does that sound better idk. I need help since I'm horrible with names!
