I’m sure I’ve had this realization before at some point, brain fog is a fucker like that. But it just occurred to me that I use compression therapy for my POTS, namely in the form of a glorified beige spanx medical girdle but without any muscle/chest support. Corsets provide compression. Corsets, when worn properly, can also be used support chest muscles and help with back problems. 

This whole time, this WHOLE TIME, I could have been living my best goth life and wearing a corset to help me not faint as much. And here I am like a chump having allergic reactions to spandex. Someone find me a corsetier stat!

She told me Spanx does not give your stomach and back the support it really does need, but wearing daily Rago 6210 girdle will. It wil take a little getting use to to experience the real benefits, but it will happen I know for a fact.

I’m testing a theory:  Please help me figure it out.  

I’m a huge lover of vintage lingerie, especially girdles.  Don’t ask me why – i just think they’re sexy as hell.  Turns out there are a fair number of other girdle lovers on tumblr too.  But whenever I send them my pictures, most of them never respond to me or reblog them, even though their sites are full of virtually every girdle picture known to the world.  

So I figure it’s one of the following reasons:

(A) They don’t find my pictures attractive

(B) They are male bloggers who secretly love to wear girdles, but are deeply insecure about it and can’t bring themselves to accept a transwoman like me wearing one.

I am from the Golden Age of Girdles.  Women back then were daily always in a vintage girdle, and what is not known this sincerely loved being girdled, and for good reason they discovered the wonderful benefits of wearing a girdle.  Your posture is dramatically improved, your clothes fit so much better, and once you can relax your stomach muscles and let the girdle give you needed control and support you find you have much more energy.  Girdles really are amazing which I am sure you found out.  And yes wearing a girdle is really sexy.
