I WROTE SOME MORE BULLSHIT!!! It’s actual oc x canon this time except it’s limbus company oc x canon. It will be tagged but there are canto 9 spoilers in this.

As the long and greuling battle against the Roach Emperor finally came to an end, Edmond pushed himself off the ground with aching legs that threatened to give way. Every sound was muffled through the harsh ringing in his ears. His clothes were covered in blood from head to toe. His main pistol was in pieces and the spare was somewhere in the battlefield. Rodion and Heathcliff were in similar states and even Vergilius was worn out.

Despite all that, when Gregor detransformed and was about to collapse, Edmond ran like he had all the strength in the world. His arms reached out and caught Gregor before he could hit the ground. His worn out knees buckled under the added weight and took them both down but Edmond maintained his tight grip. Gregor's transformation, the battle, the pain, all of it didn't matter anymore. Gregor was safe now; that was what mattered.

Except…that wasn't how it should've been. That shouldn't have been the only thing he cared about. He should have questions. He shouldn't trust him. He shouldn't be holding him like this, where he could feel his slow beating heart against his chest. He shouldn't be doing this. So why?

"Edmond…?"

That didn't come from Rodion, or Heathcliff, or Vergilius. It came from somewhere deep in his mind; a memory he thought had been lost to years of sorrow and anger.

The two of them were on a rooftop, looking at the sunset after a delightful date at a fancy resturant. As the sky got darker, one turned to the other and said, "Edmond, I'm a little tired. Would you carry me home?"

What had he answered with? It wasn't a simple "yes" or "no." No, that wasn't it. It had been "Yes. Of course I will, my darling." And that was how the moment ended. Nothing more, nothing less. Just two lovers in an embrace heading home together.

Two lovers.

In an embrace.

Heading home.

Together.

Just a short tidbit on how my Witch Hat Atelier oc meets Beldaruit. Not a ship btw they’re more like grandpa and grandson tbh (but not actually related)

Witches making new spells was far from uncommon. One could say it was part of the job. Orion has made plenty of spells in his time and his most recent one, while not very practical, was still very precious to him. What was this new spell? Star shaped pop rock candy!! He had gotten the idea when he passed by a candy shop while going to discuss a commission. After a couple weeks of work, he finally perfected the seal and got the result he wanted. Now all he had to do was present it.

Carrying a small bowl of the candy, Orion made his way through the Great Hall. He normally hated coming here but those feelings were pushed aside for the purposes of this new spell. As he walked, he suddenly heard his name be whispered by someone nearby. When he turned to look, he saw a small group of apprentices looking at him with nervous admiration. Seeing this, Orion smiled and decided to walk over to them. He bent down to their level and held out the small bowl to them. “Would you like to try this for me?” He asked politely. The apprentices nodded and each took one piece of candy. When they ate it, their eyes lit up and each of them asked if they could have another. Laughing softly, Orion says, “Take as much as you want.”

As the apprentices are eating the candy and asking question about the seal that made them, Orion suddenly hears another voice behind him. “My, my. What do we have here?” The voice asks. Thinking it’s the teacher of the apprentices, Orion stood up and turned. “Oh, it’s just something I made. Nothing too spe-” He stops in his tracks as he sees Beldaruit, the Wise in Teachings, right behind him. Orion sucks in a breath as his eyes light up and his cheeks gain a slight rosy tint out of embarrassment. For a few seconds, he’s a silent nervous wreck. Then, he holds out the bowl to Beldaruit with shaking hands and stammers out a “Would you like to try one too?” Beldaruit nods and takes a candy from the bowl. When he try’s it, his reaction is somehow more excited than the apprentices’ reactions. Orion could only stand there, blushing madly as his literal idol compliments his candy spell from head to toe.
