ITS UPDATE TIME❕
okay hi. its been..... oh lord its been four months. Ermmm. okay let me give yall the highlights i guess. updates: sparknotes edition 👍
starting the updates with a major bummer.... but one of my grandmothers died a little less than a month ago. its the first major death ive experienced since i was four years old, so grant me some patience while i figure out how to grieve healthily instead of repressing it for years, okay? she was a very kind, loving, and joyful woman (82 years old & used my pronouns better than most teenagers), and it was also just a really awful situation. i dont wanna go into specifics, but her death was very out of nowhere. the funeral was last weekend, but grief is a finicky thing. so again, just bear with me for a bit, please!
on a happier note, i am getting top surgery on may 20th!!!!!!!!!!!!! #ThankGod
ALSO i have a disability update. not sure if ive talked about my chronic kneecap instability issues much on here, but i thought for years that my kneecap (specifically my left one) was just unstable because my joints/ligaments didnt heal right following an initial severe dislocation in 2021. and Uh, i was wrong! it turns out i have trochlear dysplasia on Both knees, which is basically a problem in the leg/knee anatomy that is all but a direct cause of kneecap instability. mind you this was picked up on my x-rays in 2021, but nobody thought it was worth mentioning (even when i had multiple subluxations for years afterwards. Yay functioning healthcare)
i am basically done my first year of college! i Barely survived 😁 Honestly i hesitate to say i survived. BUT!!!! i have a job at a campus library starting in the fall semester!!!!!!!!!! Yay!!!! one step closer to financial independence from my shithead father #Amen
ummm yeah general stuff..... dissociation and depression have both been really bad for a while now. aaand ive been very into casey hartley (nitw) and dess holiday (deltarune) lately...... my narrative haunters <3 ive been playing lots of tomodachi life so maaaaybe ill post some screenshots? i have some quite comedic ones..... also i really enjoyed pokopia!!!! i took a break after hitting credits and have yet to return but its a Wonderful game <3
okay one more thing. i changed my layout!!!! yay. icon is a tcg coin of ogerpon :) and i also implemented a custom theme for the first time in..... a year or more i think. whew
i think thats all....? peace and love on planet autism. i love you all, hope to be more active this summer (esp during surgery recovery)
