this sounds like me
As humans, we waste the shit out of our words. It’s sad. We use words like “awesome” and “wonderful” like they’re candy. It was awesome? Really? It inspired awe? It was wonderful? Are you serious? It was full of wonder? You use the word “amazing” to describe a goddamn sandwich at Wendy’s. What’s going to happen on your wedding day, or when your first child is born? How will you describe it? You already wasted “amazing” on a fucking sandwich.

Depression.
I've heard depression described as a black cloud that follows you around, heard the commercials saying "Depression hurts". Neither of these come close to describing the life draining set of emotions that align perfectly causing the downfall of my desire to do.. anything. To me, depression is wondering why your boyfriend wants to date you, keen to any hint that someone (anyone) may not, thinking that anything you want do is just not worth the effort. Depression is not wanting to shower, or work, or eat and not really knowing why. At the time it feels comfortable, familiar; just laying in your bed for hours numb to any sort of happiness or satisfaction. Getting up only to smoke cigarettes or going to the store for a bottle of wine. At the time, it doesn't seem that bad, like I said, its comfortable. But when its over, you look back and think about how cold you were towards the people you care about the most, how cold you were to yourself. How you let self-destruction win once again. I have looked for the signs and have found no 'triggers'. It's just a steady flow of water that builds up against a dam, and from time to time, that dam breaks and washes away my happiness and ambitions. For awhile I'm happy, genuinely happy, and then all of the sudden I'm not. Everyone gets sad, but not everyone experiences depression. I wonder what that's like. Who I would be, what I would have accomplished in life without this monkey on my back?

I could never cheat on anyone. It’s the type of mistake and wrong doing I couldn’t live with. Knowing that you destroyed someone’s trust is bad, but destroying someone’s perspective on love is far too worse.

I want kisses and drunk texts and flowers and cuddles and lap dances and surprises and dates and bite marks and movies and notes and phone calls and back rubs and to be eaten out

It seems that Facebook is just a reality show of people's boring ass lives.
Centaur Made of Real Bones
Skulls Unlimited is the “World’s Leading Supplier of Osteological Specimens.”
They create custom skeletal mounts of animals that don’t exist (so say the scientists) such as this Centaur. The one featured here was created using the torso of a real human skeleton and melding it with the body of a horse. Generally the company provides ‘run of the mill’ skeletons for research, however, as with the centaur, they also make some pretty awesome fake examples of hard-to-find, or non-existent, skeletons.

Sometimes I think I'm too intelligent to be happy. And that's kind of the worst feeling ever.
