Another weird Monoma detail I’ve realized I never got around to posting is how quickly his mood & demeanor can change.

It was particularly pronounced in the anime during the scene where he first met Eri.

Like, seriously, rewatch that scene with the Japanese audio sometime. When a Japanese seiyuu makes a laugh sound fake, it’s usually on purpose.

How abruptly Monoma can go from that almost blank face and calm demeanor to his... more animated state, for lack of a better description, feels intentionally jarring.
