*watches the Wisp float out and feels bad.*

Sorry, little Wisp...

"I'd be surprised if they forgive you." He opens the pouch he had the Warp rings in and-

"I'm out..? Well that's just perfect. Congrats, you delayed a Wisp from going home. Hope you're proud of yourself."

The yellow Wisp looks upset.

[silver---linings]

But I wanted a Wisp friend!

"If you wanted a Wisp friend, catching them against their will is not the way to go."

He pops the capsule open, releasing the trapped Wisp.

[silver---linings]

*holding onto a squirming yellow, squealing Wisp*

You're coming home with me .

"Does it look like it wants to go home with you?!"

The capsule holding the Wisp is snatched away from you via psychokinesis. "It wants to go home, but not to yours!"

[silver---linings]

*captured a Wisp before it went through the portal.*

"What's that noise??" Silver looks. "HEY!"

[silver---linings]

Steals silvers grass

-taker

Long silence.

"Could you not?? I've had a long day."

[silver---linings]

*stealing some of the frozen Wisps*

[silver---linings]

I'll look for those rings silver, you look for cobalt

And if i cant find them, I'll just get you more

"While I appreciate the help, Giver, we wouldn't know where to look for either, and since time is starting to move again, it will be even harder to look for them both." Silver gets an idea. "Unless... Willo, lend me your color power."

"!!"

"The Wisps are frantic, and searching for Cobalt and the Warp Rings will be hard when the other Wisps are too scared to understand we're trying to help. You can phase through things. It could speed things up a lot if we can phase through the panicking crowd."

"..."

"Of course, you don't have to do this if you don't want to, I'm not forcing you. We'll find another solution to this mess if you're not comfortable with-"

Silver was cut off when Willo phases into him.

"Whuh-?!" There was a brief flash, then when the flash fades, Silver's upper body was jade in color, eyes and markings glowing white, and his legs were replaced with a flowy ghost tail. Willo had given him her color power!

"Let's do this!" With this new rush of power, the jade ghost Silver flew through the crowd of Wisps with ease now that he could phase through them.

He finds the Warp Rings after some quick searching. "Ha! So that's where I left them!" Now to find Cobalt.

It didn't take much longer to find the missing Chao. Seeing them under the couch, he scoops them up into his arm, spooking the Chao! "CHAO!"

"Don't worry, Coby, it's just us!"

"Chacha..?" Dada looked very different.

Once they were safely outside the chaos, the color power wears off, Silver returns to normal, and Willo phases out of him when he lands on his feet. "Phew! Alright, time to send these Wisps back home!"

He takes a ring out of the pouch, tosses it in front of him, and the portal to Planet Wisp opens. Silver opens the door leading outside, where Wisps came pouring out in a panic.

"HEEEEY!" He shouts loud enough to grab most of the Wisps' attention. "I OPENED A PORTAL TO PLANET WISP! YOU CAN ALL GO HOME!"

The ones that did hear him went through the portal immediately. Silver repeats himself, and soon enough, a tidalwave of Wisps come flying out of his house and rush through the portal to home. Silver repeats himself one more time in case there were stragglers still floating about.

When he was certain all the Wisps went through the Warp Ring, he closes it. Silver and Willo both collapse into the grass, exhausted by this whole fiasco. He looked to the just as wiped out Jade Wisp next to him, and smiles. "Good job." They give each other a fistbump.

[silver---linings]

Oh no

Time break is running out

Time is slowly starting to move again.

"Shoot shoot shoot! That did not last very long! We need more time!"

[silver---linings]

Hello little Wisps. Would any of you like to be my friend?

"They're frozen in time. They can't hear you."

[silver---linings]

True, “misunderstanding” was the wrong word to use, but regardless, you really don’t have a means of communicating with Tails without leaving? If that’s your preference then it’s fine I just assumed you would when I brought him up.

"I do have a means, but even if he were to come here to help, I have to keep track of allll the Wisps here so none fly off in a panic once time resumes, I won't have time to call him. I can only focus on so many at a time. It wouldn't be as much of a problem keeping them in one place if somebody didn't summon THOUSANDS of them into my house!"

[silver---linings]

Have you checked any of your storage boxes?

"No? You think I would leave it in a random box in my attic? I'm not that obvious."

[silver---linings]

Are the Wisps up for adoption? May I have one?

"Only if they want to be, but they're not animals, they're intelligent. You can't keep one as a pet and treat it like one if that's not something they want. They have to choose to stay with you."

[silver---linings]

From what I understand the Wisps are pretty friendly, I think Tails built a translator once maybe ask for his help and clear up any misunderstandings they might have?

"I know they're friendly, and I know he did, but I can't leave the thousands of panicking Wisps here just to fetch a translator. Who knows where they could flee too once time starts up again when I'm gone. This isn't a misunderstanding, they're freaking out because one moment they're on their home planet, then the next thing they know, they're teleported to somewhere they don't know."

*gives Silver's quills a few pats*

His quills bristle as he jolts. "Don't touch me!"

[silver---linings]

Of course anons are also allowed to be unfrozen

Just go easy on the fella okay

((You heard them y'all. Be nice to the hedgie and his little guys. /lh))

TIMEBREAK

*everything is frozen but silver and his little guys*

"Time... stopped..? What did you do?" Sigh. "At least I can catch my breath for a moment. There's too much chaos..."

Willo flew out of the crowd of Wisps and bumps into Silver's fur, absolutely frantic.

"Willo?? There you are! You okay?? Are you hurt??"

She shook her head.

"Is Cobalt with you?"

Again she shook her head.

"They're lost in the sea of Wisps??"

Silver knows the Wisps wouldn't do anything to harm the Chao, not voluntarily, but this is still alarming... Now he has to find Cobalt AND those warp rings...
