@silver-sides
Everyone thought I was dead, but here I am.
Relax, relax. He tried to sound reassuring over the comm link. He felt terrible that Sideswipe was experiencing the pain from being fixed. Jolt reached towards his little kit and grabbed some pain killer and quickly injected some into a line in Sideswipe’s right arm. That should help some.
I saw Blaster on my way here. I couldn’t believe what my optics were seeing. And those little, terrifying creatures- Jolt shuddered his frame. I can’t wait until we can get you and Blaster out of here. This place… Jolt kept working, welding in the new line with some heat from his servo tips. “I injected you with some pain killer. It’s not much, but it’ll ease the pain some. It’s all I had.”
After Jolt finished, he sat back and looked at Sideswipe. “Good, Sunstreaker is alive. As for ‘Raj, I will find out. I’ll send out a signal.”
Cobalt optics flicked towards Jolt, then towards the door. Once Jolt was done, he shifted to sit up. He was happy to finally have the pain from his helm, but he still felt the pain of the repairs. He moved to try and get on his wheeled pedes, sliding against the wall a few times. The painkiller was making him dizzy.
"Thanks, Jolt." He looked around, then towards the blue bot again. He won't hurt us so long as we play along. He needs us. Got that? Play along. If he's hurt, help him. Kiss his aft. Then, later, we'll kick it.
He kept a steady, but fast work place. He had just finished the leak; now for the helm wound. This would hurt, for sure, and Jolt had no time to inject Sideswipe with a pain reliever, for it would take too long to settle in. Jolt huffed, and gently began to fix the damaged line. Ah, the damage wasn’t as bad as the scans read. It could have been Jolt overreacting the situation, too, making the scan a bad read. “I won’t get stuck in here.” At least, Jolt really hoped he wouldn’t.
Jolt kept working, “He’s learning our language…” Jolt paused with talking, then, “but we do still have our private comm links. These would be the hardest to hack into.” Jolt was glad for the little emergency pack Ratchet had made him awhile back. It contained so much, even replacement line. Jolt began removing the damaged line trying to be as gentle as possible.
He shook his helm, “I haven’t heard a word from them. I’m hoping they’re safe, and healthy.”
The pain was nearly excruciating. His frame tensed and he scowled, though it wasn't towards Jolt at all. He tried to remain still, but the urge to pull away was tempting. "I know that." Their private comms were the only thing they could reply on at the moment.
"He got Blaster, too. We're screwed unless we work with him. We need to get better. Then, attack him from the inside. Our uprising." Or so he had planned. He glanced towards the mech at the door, watching the way his frame shifted. He appeared to be talking to someone. Sideswipe shuddered slightly. He hated being here- here in this place.
"Sunny's alive. I just... wanna know if 'Raj is, too."

::Maybe I just got lucky, then.:: A small shrug. ::Managed t’ catch one of th’ times thy were on.::
::Nothin’. Just want t’ get t’ know you.:: There was a vague desire to maybe free the guy from the Autobot’s hold, but that would take a lot more planning.
.:. Doubt that. Well, maybe luck exists for you. Not for us. .:. Not anymore. .:. Well, you've got me on a comm. I'm not the sharing type, but I'll answer whatever. So long as it's not too personal. .:. Because conversation would keep him awake, would keep him sane, and keep him focused. .:. So? .:.
Jolt stopped, looking Sideswipe dead square in the optics. “Listen, it’s going to be ok.” He lowered his voice, “It will be ok. Stop panicking. A medic is always needed, are we not?”
Jolt began doing the repairs, starting with the leak, and he mumbled to himself, “Now we question my intelligence? Ratchet taught me some stuff, you know.” Jolt was keeping time. He had only seven minutes left. Surely, their new “leader” was keeping time as well, so Jolt sped up his pace. He dug under Sideswipe’s plating to the injury, and heated his servos to make a weld that would hold into he could actually bring Sideswipe to Medbay.
He wasn't sure where Jolt's determination came from. If he'd asked, he'd probably get some stupid answer, like plants. His doors slid against the wall as he shifted. "I know it will be, but you weren't supposed to get stuck here, too." At least, he didn't want it to happen this soon.
"Medic...yeah. Yeah, he'd keep you," he murmured, cobalt dimming. He let Jolt work, only twitching and jerking when he felt pangs of pain. He had to keep his mind off the procedure. "He;s learning our Cybertronian language. We have no code to talk in," he muttered, spinning a wheel to make a loud screeching noise to cover the talk, "We need to serve him for a little while."
He stopped his wheel, exhaling black smoke from his lipplates. "You heard from 'Raj or Sunny at all?" He was sure they were angry with him- maybe.
Jolt looked to the mech. He felt his anger building up more. His scans weren’t giving Jolt much relief, and the reaction he got from Sideswipe wasn’t reassuring as well. He understood, giving the circumstance. Jolt was not happy; if it wasn’t one thing, it was another.
"I’m here to fix you. Primus, Sides…” Jolt finished his diagnostics. There was an energon leak, disrupting the flow. Sideswipe’s dent in his helm had been so deep, that a line was disrupted there as well. Jolt needed to get these repaired as quickly as possible; time was ticking. “You have a leak on your right, Sides, and a damaged line in your head.” He thought of making a joke, but this was game time. Surely, jokes would come later, when everything would be civil again… at least, somewhat civil.
Sideswipe watched Jolt, optics struggling to focus. "You're not supposed to be here. He's not gonna let you leave..." He glanced over Jolt's shoulder, noting the chainsaw covered back of their new "leader." He frowned and looked back towards the medic. He gestured at him with his servos.
"You're supposed to be smarter than this." He glanced towards the door again, then to the ground. It hurt to look around so much. He lowered his helm, trying to redirect his vision to something less painful. "Go ahead. Fix me." It was too late now.

Jolt stepped into the cold, dark room. His optics focused in the dark, and after glancing around the room, he found Sideswipe sitting near a corner. He made his way over to him quickly, bending down, immediately running scans.
"Sideswipe. I’m here. He let me in." He spoke quickly as his scans began running diagnosis.
Sideswipe's servo twitched first. A jerk of a reaction, sending his frame pressing further into the corner. For a moment, he was unsure of who Jolt was. His optics flashed, cobalt adjusting. He stared at the medic for a minute, registering a scan beginning.
"... W-what are you doing? Why are you here? You were out of this place!"

::I don’t know exactly where you are, mech. But I did catch some chatter on th’ airwaves, an’ managed t’ find your signal that way. Had t’ piece it together on who exactly you were, though.::
Because ‘hi I’m friends with the guy holding you captive and I bugged him for your number after seeing you in a recording and thinking you were hot’ is just a tad creepy.
.:. Yeah? Sounds like bull to me, but whatever. .:. He wasn't comfortable with the backwards bots. He sighed, lifting a servo to rub at his forehelm. .:. Wondering how you knew my signal is all. My comms have been on and off these last few days. .:. .:. What do you want from me? I have nothing left to offer. .:.
Primus. I miss Mirage...

A small, almost apologetic laugh. ::’Fraid not. I’m from a spin like th’ guys that you’re stayin’ with.::
Spin universe? The negative dimension? Sideswipe's optics flashed with a moment of panic. No, he couldn't deal with more. Then, he settled. The Decepticons were the good mechs here, weren't they? .:. How did you know where I was? Actually, how did you know I was caught at all? How'd you even get my frequency? You're working for someone else, aren't you? .:.

::Whoa hey, chill.:: Wow, okay then. ::Thundercracker. TC is cool though ‘cos its a whole heck of a lot shorter, yeah?::
.:. Thundercracker? What the hell do you want with me? I thought you 'Cons went off to the base in space and left the planet alone. That's why... .:. Wait a minute. .:. No. You're not ours. .:.

Oh jeez, one of those kind of mechs. ::I’m just, you know. A mech. Someone that’d like t’ get t’ know you better, that’s all. You seem cool.::
Angry rumble in throat. .:. I asked who you were, not what you want. You want to get to know me better? Too bad. Not sayin' anything else until you tell me what your stupid initials stand for. I've had enough jerking around. You either spit it out or I ignore you and we go our separate ways. .:.

And he might just casually not answer that. ::Just, you know. Stuff. Just like… well, how are you, for one. Are you okay?::
Rude. .:. I'm fine. .:. He's far from it. .:. Who the hell are you? .:.
It’s quite the plant, Sides. Almost hysterical, and it’s MASSIVE. A small tree perhaps… Jolt trailed. Had Sideswipe tried to mention something to him. Sides…
Jolt tried to analyze the problem at the moment. He remembered Sideswipe mentioned a head injury, so that could obviously lead to more issues. He needed to get to Sideswipe. It was killing him; he had to. It almost seemed as Jolt had gotten lost in a haze. What would Ratchet do? Combat training… wait… Jolt shook his helm. His HUD began to blow up with possibly outcomes from the head injury. How could he get to Sideswipe… and if it was possible to allow their new leader to even see him.
He hummed in response. Massive plant? Interesting. How could a planet be that interesting? How could plants on a planet be that interesting? His helm lulled to the side, lipplates parted slightly. He'd been in the middle of alerting Jolt that he was losing his stream of attention.
.:. Need a minute... .:. It was all he could mutter. His frame slackened against the wall, digits twitching against his palm. He wanted to remain awake- to talk to Jolt. But, his helm hurt and he preferred to save his strength, not waste it. .:. One minute. .:.

::Oh.:: Yeah, now he remembered. Sideswipe had gotten caught. ::I’m sorry.::
::Ah- actually I kinda wanted t’ talk t’ you. I’ve heard some good things about you, yeah?:: Okay, one good thing (that he was a hottie) but shh.
Sideswipe sighed loudly. .:. Yeah? From who? .:. Because he was genuinely curious as to who would talk about him aside from his brother. Or maybe Mirage. But, he hadn't heard from either in so long. .:. Talk about what? .:.
It was nice to hear his friend perking up. Jolt sighed a slight sigh of relief. I can imagine how hard he had to be on you. But then again, it’s Ironhide. He would be nothing but tough, yeah?
Jolt laughed a little. Well, it’s an invasive species that really dominate the natural plants already in the area. It’s… impressive! And, my plants are great. You can’t deny that. Jolt was really trying to lighten the mood. The more he tried, the more Sideswipe became responsive it seemed. That was it. He just needed to keep him focused.
.:. Very hard. Tough. Strong. Hard t'beat. .:.
He listened as Jolt spoke, but his audios were becoming muffled. He tried to mutter a warning to Jolt about it, letting him know he couldn't really hear him, but all that came out was a low croak. Invasive species? Natural plants? Weren't all plants natural? He was so enthusiastic, but he sounded like he was underwater. Sideswipe's optics slowly flickered offline, a stinging sensation making them hurt. His helm thudded back.
.:. Mhm. .:. He's listening. Sure.
