Ever wondered what a fusion of Dorothy and Luke Skywalker would look like?
I wrote this! A visual guide to the Star Wars and Wizard of Oz references in Kozmos!
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Thoughts:
1. When playing first, you always want to open with a certain set of cards. Generally, that’s Traptrix Rafflesia, Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, PSY-Framelord Omega, Void Ogre Dragon, Naturia Beast, and Clear Wing Synchro Dragon. Let’s talk match-ups for a moment. Against Kozmos your opening plays have to be made under the consideration that you WILL be OTK’d next turn, or the following if you don’t stall them out and win the duel on Turn 3. This deck will very quickly crumble against a Kozmo offense, and can’t deal with Dark Destroyer/Forerunner efficiently enough to stand a chance in the late game. You need to shut them out of the duel ASAP, and for lack of good floodgates the best way to do that is by winning during your first Battle Phase. Rafflesia and Absolute are solid here. Rafflesia set-ups are a bit more vulnerable to removal, but it’ll generally keep you safe if you can back it up with another card. Absolute is a bit better: warding away attacks and replacing itself with Vortex when destroyed.
The downside for both Xyz is that they drain your Pendulums. Oafdragon can get those Pendulum back in play, but it’ll take an extra turn. Vortex may hit the field with no cards face-up in the Extra Deck. Monarchs have answers to just about every turn 1 set-up, but they’re likely to OTK you anyways. My suggestion? Don’t leave a monster on the field, then hit them hard next turn. Set up an answer to their floodgates, then leave your field open.
There was life, and He spoke unto it; and it was silent, and lived no more.

Quality post
I regret looking at my Asuka-filled feed. I also regret taking the time to look at each individual reblog while resisting the temptation to reblog them myself.
On the subject of Caitlyn Jenner and the predictable outcry from religious toons: if your god doesn’t make mistakes, put your own health on the line and refuse medicine the next time you’re sick. Who are you to delay god’s plan for your death?
I have a bad habit of making things so much more difficult than they need to be.
