Elegance, Talent & Promise - Our Day at the EWA Spring Grading Show

This season we had the pleasure of attending the EWA Spring Grading Show, hosted by the European Warmblood Association. The event brought together an impressive selection of horses, all presented for evaluation in categories such as conformation, movement, and freejumping. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase quality, athleticism, and future breeding potential in front of experienced judges and spectators alike.

We entered the grading with three horses - two mares and one stallion - each presented in their respective divisions. The atmosphere throughout the event was both elegant and competitive, with every horse being carefully evaluated on overall type, balance, movement quality, jumping ability, and presentation.

Our stallion Lulling V immediately drew attention with his striking presence and expressive type. In both the conformation phase and the freejumping section, he showed power, scope, and careful technique over the fences while maintaining a confident and composed attitude. His combination of athleticism and elegance made him a standout throughout the day.

The mares also represented our stable beautifully. YMK Zodiac Enigma impressed with refined movement and elasticity, showing excellent cadence and balance during the movement evaluation, while SMS Moonlight Mirage captivated attention with her strong conformation and natural jumping talent in the freejumping arena. Seeing each horse showcase their individual strengths in such a professional setting was incredibly rewarding for our team.

The EWA Spring Grading Show once again proved to be a wonderful experience and an important opportunity to evaluate and present promising horses for both sport and breeding. We are extremely proud of all three horses for their performances and look forward to continuing their development throughout the season.

Young Stars Beneath the Greek Columns - Our Day at the Greek Foal & Yearling Show

This week, we had the pleasure of attending the beautiful Greek Foal & Yearling Show, hosted by Samantha Strasser. Surrounded by elegant marble columns, statues, and a truly unique atmosphere, the event was the perfect stage for showcasing the next generation of promising young horses.

We presented several of our youngsters, each of them showing their own personality, movement, and charm throughout the classes. From refined type and expressive faces to playful energy and confident movement, the foals kept both spectators and judges captivated all day long.

One of the highlights of the event was seeing the foals confidently stepping into the arena atmosphere despite their young age. Some entered the ring with calm curiosity, while others proudly showed off extravagant movement and playful energy that immediately drew attention. Watching these young horses grow and gain experience in environments like this is always incredibly rewarding.

The Greek-inspired venue gave the entire show a very elegant and almost timeless feeling, making every presentation look even more special. The soft colors of the arena, paired with the classical architecture, created a stunning backdrop for the young horses and made the day feel unforgettable both in and outside the ring.

No matter the final placings or scores, we are incredibly proud of all the youngsters that attended the show with us. Events like these are an important step in their development and a wonderful opportunity to present the future of our breeding program. We’re excited to watch them continue to mature and can’t wait to see what the future holds for each of them.

A Loyal New Companion - Welcome Ébène ‘T Rosmalen

Not every new arrival at the stable has four hooves - and today, we are incredibly happy to introduce one with four paws instead. Meet Ébène ‘T Rosmalen, our beautiful young Beauceron girl, who joined our family as a puppy from Casey Rosmalen.

From the very beginning, Ébène brought an incredible presence with her. With her striking harlequin coat, intelligent expression, and naturally attentive personality, she quickly became impossible to miss around the barn. Even as a young dog, she already carries the confidence and elegance that make the Beauceron breed so admired.

Life on the farm suits her perfectly. Whether she is curiously following the horses through the paddocks, watching every movement around the stable, or simply staying close to her people, Ébène has settled into life at our stud beautifully. She is observant, loyal, and always eager to be part of everything happening around her.

Beyond her stunning looks, what stands out most is her character. Ébène combines a calm and thoughtful nature with playful energy, making her both a wonderful companion and a perfect addition to daily life at the stable. We are excited to watch her continue growing and developing alongside our horses and family.

A huge thank you to Casey Rosmalen for entrusting us with this special girl. We are so happy to have Ébène as part of our home, and we already cannot imagine the barn without her.

Into Morocco’s Golden Expanse – TEC Desert Progression

The endurance season began with golden light, endless sand, and a partnership built entirely on trust as Serena Vasquez and Fae’s Selcouth traveled to the TEC Desert Progression to compete in the OPEN 1 division. Set against the breathtaking desert landscapes of Morocco, the event challenged horse and rider alike with long distances, demanding terrain, and the need for perfect balance between stamina and strategy.

From the very beginning, Serena and Selcouth seemed completely in sync. The warm desert air carried softly across the dunes as Selcouth settled into a steady, effortless rhythm - never rushed, never hesitant, but perfectly measured for the miles ahead. It was the kind of pace only true endurance horses understand instinctively.

One of the most beautiful moments of the ride came as the pair approached a quiet oasis hidden between the sand and palms. Sunlight reflected across the water while long shadows stretched beneath the trees, creating an almost unreal stillness in the middle of the vast desert landscape. Selcouth remained calm and attentive, ears flicking forward as she moved with quiet confidence beneath her rider.

“Just a quick break,” Serena murmured softly while allowing the mare a brief moment to breathe and take in the surroundings. Selcouth answered the only way she needed to, with relaxation, trust, and that familiar willingness to move forward together.

Although OPEN 1 is a competitive class that demands precision, conditioning, and careful management throughout the course, Serena has always understood that Selcouth is not a horse meant to be forced through a ride. Instead, she is a mare that gives her best when ridden with feel, patience, and harmony. That understanding has become the foundation of their partnership and, ultimately, their greatest strength.

After one final glance toward the oasis, Serena gathered the reins once more and guided Selcouth onward into Morocco’s endless golden expanse. Ahead of them lay more miles of sand, heat, and endurance, a true test of stamina for every competitor still chasing the finish line.

But as Selcouth carried herself forward with the same steady determination, it was clear that this journey was about more than competition alone. It was about trust, rhythm, and the quiet connection between horse and rider that can carry them farther than speed ever could.

A Dream Brought to Life - Welcome LSR Dali’s Dream

Some horses feel special from the very beginning, and LSR Dali’s Dream is certainly one of them. We are incredibly excited to officially welcome this stunning 3-year-old Dutch Warmblood stallion to our stable.

Dali is the result of a breeding we purchased from Megan McFarland, pairing our mare EJ Commander’s Charm with Megan’s exceptional stallion Escott’s Dior. Watching this cross come to life has been an amazing experience, and seeing Dali finally grow into the striking young stallion he is today makes it even more rewarding.

One of the first things anyone notices about Dali is his breathtaking color. As a rare Silver Buckskin Rabicano, he carries a truly unique look that immediately catches the eye. His soft silver shading, dark points, and subtle rabicano ticking give him an almost unreal appearance, especially combined with his elegant build and expressive movement.

But beyond his color, Dali already shows so much quality as a young warmblood prospect. He has a confident presence, balanced movement, and the kind of natural charisma that makes him impossible to overlook. Even at only three years old, he carries himself with the elegance and athleticism we had hoped for when planning this breeding.

We are incredibly thankful to Megan McFarland for this opportunity and so proud to finally welcome Dali home. He represents a very special piece of our breeding program, and we cannot wait to watch him continue to mature in the years ahead.

An Enigmatic New Arrival - Welcome YMK Zodiac Enigma

We are incredibly excited to introduce the newest addition to our stable, YMK Zodiac Enigma. This stunning 4-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare recently joined us through a trade with Elora “Elo” Vancleef, and from the very first moment, she completely captured our attention.

Known around the barn as Astra, she has a presence that is impossible to overlook. With her breathtaking spotted coat, elegant frame, and soft, expressive features, Astra truly lives up to her registered name. She combines refinement and athleticism with an almost ethereal beauty, making her stand out wherever she goes.

Beyond her striking appearance, Astra already shows wonderful quality as a young mare. She carries herself with confidence and natural elegance, and we are incredibly excited to watch her continue developing over the coming years. At only four years old, she still has her entire future ahead of her, and we believe she has all the potential to become something truly special.

We are very thankful to Elo Vancleef for trusting us with this beautiful mare, and we are thrilled that Astra is now part of our family. We cannot wait to begin this next chapter with her and see where her journey will lead.

Welcoming Zobel Charmani Z

At the end of last year, we were fortunate enough to secure a very special young prospect at auction, and now the time has finally come to welcome him home.

Introducing Zobel Charmani Z, our beautiful Zangersheide colt, who has just arrived after being freshly weaned from his dam. Now officially 10 month old, Charmani is ready to begin the next stage of his journey with us.

Bred by Zobel Farm (@zobelfarm), owned by Ian Salvatore, Charmani carries outstanding bloodlines. He is by Chamaan Z and out of the elegant Luxe One Z. Born a striking black, he will gradually grey out just like his dam, a transformation we are especially excited to witness over the coming years.

Even at this young age, Charmani shows a refined type, balanced movement, and an attentive, intelligent expression. He combines modern sport horse elegance with the athletic promise that the Zangersheide studbook is known for.

We are incredibly grateful to Zobel Farm for entrusting us with this young stallion and look forward to watching him grow, develop, and eventually step into the spotlight in his own right.

Silveroak’s Kensington Takes on the ZPS 50-Tägige Hengstleistungsprüfung

This year, our young stallion Silveroak’s Kensington had the opportunity to participate in the ZPS 50-tägige Hengstleistungsprüfung, a demanding stallion performance test designed to evaluate young breeding stallions under saddle and in multiple disciplines. Since the horses had to be presented and ridden by an external rider, we entrusted Kensington to Jella Reenberg for the event, a decision we are incredibly happy with.

The performance test included presentation in-hand, Dressage, and Showjumping. Kensington was entered into the dressage-focused division, as his strengths clearly lie more within expressive movement and rideability than pure jumping ability. Even so, the event challenged every horse to show versatility, temperament, and willingness to work.

From the very beginning, Kensington showed exactly the kind of horse he is: motivated, ambitious, and eager to prove himself. As Jella described so perfectly after the event: Kensington is a young stallion who truly wants to show what he can do, sometimes almost a little too much. The quick changes between exercises and disciplines still caused him some tension, which could especially be seen during transitions and in the walk, where he occasionally hurried instead of fully relaxing into the movement.

Despite his young age, however, his quality was impossible to overlook. His gaits already show impressive carrying ability and expression, with his trot standing out in particular as a clear highlight throughout the test. His canter also received a great deal of praise for its quality and balance. While the atmosphere and busy environment still affected the relaxation and rhythm of his walk, it is clear that this is something that will continue to improve as he matures mentally and gains more experience.

The jumping portion of the test also showed Kensington’s honest character beautifully. While it became obvious that he is fundamentally a dressage horse rather than a natural jumper, he approached every obstacle bravely and trusted his rider completely, even when the lines toward the fences were not always perfectly straight. That willingness to cooperate and his reliable attitude made us just as proud as any score ever could.

Overall, the ZPS Hengstleistungsprüfung was an incredibly valuable experience for Kensington. We are deeply thankful to Jella Reenberg for presenting him so wonderfully and for understanding him as the young horse he still is. Events like these are not only about results, but about development and we truly believe Kensington has a very exciting future ahead of him.

BHF Performance Showcase Finals 2025 - A Magical Christmas Weekend ✨🎄

This past Christmas season, we had the honor of attending the BHF Performance Showcase Finals 2025, hosted by the Baroque Heritage Foundation. The festive atmosphere, beautifully decorated arena, and outstanding collection of baroque horses made the entire event feel truly special from beginning to end.

For this showcase, we brought both of our Friesian stallions to compete in two disciplines each - Dressage and Classical Dressage. Seeing them perform under the warm lights and Christmas decorations created an unforgettable atmosphere that perfectly matched the elegance of the Friesian breed.

Representing us first was Eulenthal’s Donnerhall, who once again proved why he is such a special horse to us. In Dressage, Donny showed expressive movement, balance, and his usual confident presence in the arena. During the Classical Dressage class, he truly seemed to come alive, carrying himself with remarkable collection and elegance while maintaining the calm, playful personality we adore so much about him.

Alongside him, SMS Flow Of Colorado delivered equally beautiful performances throughout the weekend. His powerful movement and striking silhouette immediately drew attention as he entered the arena. In both Dressage and Classical Dressage, he showed wonderful suspension, impulsion, and the proud presence that makes Friesians so captivating to watch.

The entire event felt less like a competition and more like a celebration of baroque horses and classical riding. Between the festive decorations, the supportive atmosphere, and the chance to showcase our stallions in such a beautiful environment, the BHF Finals quickly became one of our favorite events of the winter season.

We are incredibly proud of both stallions and thankful to the Baroque Heritage Foundation for hosting such a magical Christmas showcase. Events like these are exactly why we love sharing our horses with the community - not only for the results, but for the unforgettable memories created along the way. 🎄🖤

✨ Welcome EJ Wictra ✨

We are excited to officially welcome EJ Wictra to our stable!

This beautiful young Dutch Warmblood mare recently joined us from Echo International Jumpers (@echointernationaljumpers), and we could not be happier to add her to our growing program. From the moment we first saw her, Wictra immediately stood out with her elegant presence, expressive movement, and striking appearance.

Her rich dark bay coat, unique markings, and piercing blue eye make her truly unforgettable, but it is her overall quality and athletic type that impressed us the most. Wictra carries herself with confidence and natural balance, already showing the kind of presence we love to see in young warmblood prospects.

Although she is still young, we are very excited about her future and eager to watch her continue to mature over the coming years. We believe she has all the ingredients to develop into a truly special mare, both in and out of the arena.

A huge thank you goes to Echo International Jumpers for allowing us to bring this lovely girl home. We are looking forward to starting this new journey with her and cannot wait to see what the future holds for EJ Wictra.

Herbst-Sportpferdekörung - A Look Back at Last Autumn 🍂

Even though the autumn season has long passed, we never wanted to leave the Herbst-Sportpferdekörung without a proper mention on our blog. Hosted by Equestria United, the event brought together a wonderful variety of sport horses for a traditional grading showcase focused on conformation, presentation, and movement quality.

Unlike regular competitions, the atmosphere at this event felt quieter and more focused. Every horse had the chance to speak for itself, first standing before the judges, then showing its movement in hand. It was one of those weekends where details mattered: expression, balance, presence, elasticity, and the small moments that make each horse unique.

We were incredibly proud to present such a diverse group of horses from our stable and breeding program.

Among the participants was the stunning SMS Moonlight Mirage, whose elegant double cream coloring and expressive movement immediately caught attention in the arena. Alongside her, SMS Fawn In Deep Woods impressed with her refined presence and floating trot, while Another Night With Champagne SE brought plenty of charisma and color to the grading ring.

Silveroak’s Kensington showed himself as a modern and athletic sport horse with powerful movement, and SMS Lux et Amor stood out with elegant type and a soft, attentive expression.

We were equally excited to showcase some of our younger and more distinctive horses, including FAL Navajo, whose unique markings certainly made him unforgettable, and the beautifully balanced FAL Valencia, who carried herself with remarkable confidence for such a young horse.

Another highlight for us was seeing BOE Commander’s Charm and GGR Meara presented before the judges. Both horses showed exactly the kind of rideability and composure we value so highly in our program.

Finally, GRR Silver Sinner rounded off our group perfectly with his eye-catching appearance and powerful frame, earning many admiring looks throughout the day.

Looking back now, the Herbst-Sportpferdekörung was less about ribbons and more about presenting the horses we have carefully developed over time. Events like these are always a reminder of how much work, patience, and passion go into every individual horse long before they ever step into the spotlight.

New Arrivals - FAL Merano & FAL Andarna

From an Auction, we were lucky enough to bring home two exceptional yearlings. Both only a year old, yet already full of promise, presence, and charm - and they’ve settled in beautifully.

🌿 FAL Merano The striking bay overo Pintabian colt immediately caught our attention with his expressive face and beautifully marked coat. Merano moves with a natural elegance, showing the kind of balance and lightness that hint at a very bright future. His markings make him truly one of a kind, and his confident but polite attitude has already made him a favorite in the barn.

🌸 FAL Andarna Beside him dances FAL Andarna, a graceful Palomino filly with a soft golden sheen and an even softer temperament. Curious, clever, and incredibly charming, Andarna stands out not just for her looks but for her harmonious build and bright expression. She has been affectionate from the first moment and adores attention.

Both youngsters come from the wonderful breeding program of Eve Sandoval and are a perfect addition to our growing group of promising young horses. We’re excited to watch them grow, learn, and find their place here - two young stars with a very promising road ahead.

Welcoming Uncharted JR - New Hanoverian Colt

We are delighted to introduce Uncharted JR, a handsome Hanoverian colt who has just joined our stable from Gwenneth Aleshire. Bred from outstanding lines: by Unmasked JR out of Orchard’s Erynnis - Uncharted JR also descends from the notable The Mandalorian NK lineage, adding depth and distinction to his pedigree.

His start has been a team effort: Uncharted JR was carried by our wonderful surrogate mare BOE Commander’s Charm, pictured here with him. Thanks to her calm, attentive nature, he’s had the best possible beginning and is already showing a confident, curious outlook on the world.

With his refined type, elegant movement, and star-studded pedigree, Uncharted JR promises a bright future. We’re thrilled to watch him grow and discover exactly where his journey will lead - true to his name, into exciting, uncharted territory.

Welcome to the Team - The Vasquez Twins

We’re thrilled to welcome our newest team members, Rafael and Serena Vasquez – twin siblings with a shared passion for equestrian sport and an unbreakable bond, both in and out of the saddle.

At just 20 years old, they’ve already made a name for themselves in their respective disciplines. Serena specializes in Dressage, Classical Dressage, English Pleasure, Driving, and Endurance, bringing elegance and precision to every performance.

Rafael, on the other hand, is our all-round competitor for Dressage, Eventing, Show Jumping, Field Hunter Trials, and Show Hunters – combining technical skill with fearless determination.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for the Vasquez twins as they join our team – welcome aboard!

Baroque Brilliance - Our Friesians Return to the BHF Grading

It was once again time for the Baroque Heritage Foundation’s Stud & Broodmare Grading Show, and our Friesian stallions, Eulenthal’s Donnerhall and SMS Flow Of Colorado, proudly returned to the ring to present their impressive conformation and powerful movement before the judges.

At the previous grading, Colorado earned an outstanding 85.50%, receiving the title Quality Breeding Stock, while Donnerhall achieved a strong 79.50%, earning the title Qualified Breeding Stock. Both stallions have shown remarkable development since then - their condition, muscle definition, and confidence in the ring clearly reflecting the work of the past months.

The grading process once again focused on type, conformation, and movement, as well as overall balance and presence. Colorado’s expressive trot and refined head immediately caught the judges’ eyes, while Donnerhall impressed with his grounded, powerful steps and classic Friesian posture.

We’re eager to see how their scores will turn out this time and whether they might climb even higher in the ranks — perhaps even earning a new, higher breeding title. Regardless of the outcome, both stallions showcased the essence of the baroque breed with grace and strength, representing our stable with pride.
