This blog and bracket are both being run by @ssspringroll (aka @exculis)

You can also send in propaganda for other people's sims, as long as its positive! No negative propaganda!

Feel free to send it in through the ask box, or however else you'd like

What is a simblr?

A Sims Tumblr. We blog about sims. You don't need to have a blog dedicated to sims in order to enter or participate. If you just like voting on things, you don't even need to know what a sim is! All are welcome to vote as they please.

What does it mean to be 'bad'?

In this tournament, we mean 'bad' in a slang sense, like 'cool' or 'edgy'. You can interpret 'bad' however you like, as long as you keep things positive!

Butch?

adjective 1. Exhibiting stereotypically masculine appearance or behavior. Used especially of lesbians and gay men.

Bitch??

We're using the word 'bitch' mostly as edgy flavor text. Any sim can be submitted regardless of sex, gender, identity, etc.

Bracket???

This is a tournament-style competition (for fun!)

There will be multiple rounds, in each round two competitors will fight for votes in a tumblr poll lasting 1 week. The winners of each poll will move on to the next round, fighting another foe in the same sort of battle.

Depending on the number of entries the tourney may be short or quite long. If the number is on the lower side, there may be a loser's bracket, wherein the losers of each poll will have a chance to redeem themselves, and fight their way back to a chance at the crown.

This is NOT a popularity contest.

While no one can control how you vote except you, you are encouraged not to just vote for the simmer you like more or to only vote for your friends. Instead, try to vote with your heart. Maybe you'll discover a new favorite?

NO Negativity

We are here to celebrate everyone's meow meows, not to put anyone down for any reason. This includes yourself. It will not be tolerated. No guilt trips, self-deprecation, or negative propaganda. Let's all be chill and be friends, okay?

Full Name: Cyra (whatever other name(s) she used to have died along with her family.) Origin: My D&D character from Balance of the Elements (abandoned) Additional Info/Propaganda: - She's a fire genasi storm herald barbarian - Literally on fire at all times (I can't really show it in sims, but her hair is made of out fire). Talk about hot!!! - Can summon a flaming metal quarterstaff out of her chest - Grew up in the desert with a cult-like group of raiders inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road. - Has a shitty ex-gf named Thalia who manipulated her into staying with a cult for years. Despite having run away/escaped, Cyra still has complicated feelings about her. (Toxic Yuri...) - HAS A CAR*!!!! You know butches love their cars. (*: well, close enough.) - Said car was stolen from the government/cops. - Drives fast. Can and will beat you in a street race. - Necklace is the car's "key". (It's powered by magic, that stone triggers the magic.)

Full Name: Odynia Adrasteia Erinys Origin: My D&D character from The First War Game (ongoing) Additional Info / Propaganda: - Aasimar Vengeance Paladin (+ 1 level in Hexblade Warlock) - Sworn to the goddess Nemesis (Greek goddess of retribution) - Sacrificed her eye to her goddess - Looks damn good in armor - Can summon black, feathered wings - Has a sword made of metal from a meteor - Looks like she can kill you, will actually kill you - Seeking revenge against her brother who betrayed her and tried to kill her - Currently stuck working as the bodyguard of a nobleman. Neither of them are happy about this.

Picture this: it’s 1934 and a polka-dotted vixen walks her red heeled shoes into your desert bar. Her goal is to seduce her way into a job and out-bad bitch you. The only natural reaction? To challenge her in a game you know she’ll never win, of course.

Because Val’s got no time for anyone’s nonsense, and she sure as hell doesn’t play by their rules. She’s unmarried, unbothered, queer, and rocks a pair of pants like literally no one else in their town would dare to. She owns a badass car and a brand new house, and her sarcastic wit will disarm you before you can figure out if she’s insulting or flirting with you. She’s secretly independently wealthy and moves through the white, patriarchal landscape of pre-WWII America with the bravado to prove it. Too bad she’s now locked in a sexually charged situation-ship with the aforementioned polka-dotted vixen and her pretty boyfriend too.

Only Val doesn’t play games she can’t win, and she sure as hell won’t lose this one to some weak-willed man with a penchant for pain. So saddle up girls, it’s time to win a love triangle.

Name: Pandora Atcliffe-Pollock

Age: 26

Why is Pandora THE baddest butch bitch?

She’s an OC, the 6th heir of the Pollock legacy. She's a lesbian, she’s got abs, she’s the mafia boss, she's a chainsmoker, she’s got a nasty personality and probably some mommy issues too. If none of that convinces you, let me tell you a few more things about her.

She lied to her rich family so she could move to Mt. Komorebi and afford to spend every day at the casino gambling daddy’s money. But don’t worry, she loves her dad. Her mom? Not so much. She kinda was the reason her personality turned out this messed up.

But why Mt. Komorebi? Well, that’s where her high school sweetheart lives, the girl of her dreams! Her first love… who, by the way, is engaged to a man and also a member of the mafia. Great match.

Pandora did everything to win her girl back—even climbed up the ranks of the criminal organization just to snatch that juicy boss position to impress her girl. The price? Getting rid of one of her best friends. Minor detail.

Did I mention her other new girlfriend is hot, blonde, and a police detective? Yup. The same detective who threw Pandora in jail. Another amazing match.

If that still doesn’t convince you, I’ll just add one more thing: she has some badass tattoos like her ex’s name on her ribs.

SBBB Submission Info

Are you Bad? Are you Butch? Do you wanna let everyone know that you're That Bitch? Then this is the tournament for you

The Rules:

Deadline for submissions is: May 21st, 2025

Submissions must be a sim. They can be from any game, but they must be: Your own original creation, an EA/Maxis premade, your own makeover of an EA/Maxis premade, or the offspring of some combination of the above.

You may not submit sims belonging to someone else. All non-premade sims must be submitted by their creators.

Sims can be recreations of fictional characters from other media sources, but these recreations must be made by you, the submitter. Additionally, all propaganda and images provided must be sims screenshots, or legally belong to you, the submitter.

Sims must be at least a Young Adult. Some games do ages differently, but we wont be accepting any teens, children, toddlers, infants, etc.

Sim does not need to be playable or human. For example, Grim Reaper, the mother plant, etc.

You may submit multiple sims. Go nuts. Within reason. This time, the cap is 5 sims, max. (Unless you have some sort of really, really good argument as to why you should be allowed to submit more than that. Then, dm me about it. We’ll talk.)

Images must be safe to post on tumblr. I don’t want polls getting flagged and skewing the results, so keep it clean-ish. (I won’t blame anybody if a post does get flagged, it’s not your fault, but like, no full frontal nudity, okay? Let’s use some common sense is all)

No negative propaganda.

Sims may be rejected at moderator discretion.

How to submit your sim(s):

Make a post on your blog (or one post per sim, if you prefer), @ this blog (@simblorbo-bracket), and make sure you include the following info for each sim:

Name of sim

At least 1 image of the sim. A square image (~1:1 aspect ratio) is preferred for your main image. If no square image is provided, your image may be cropped for formatting when the polls begin. (A main image will be included above the poll, additional images will be below a readmore alongside the propaganda. You can specify which image you’d like to use as the main, if you have a preference)

Whether they are an original creation, premade, recreation of a fictional character from other media, or EA premade makeover

(Optional) Additional propaganda! Why else should people vote for your sim? What makes that Bad? What makes them That Bitch? Remember: no negative propaganda. Lift up your candidate instead of putting others down.

What makes Geoffrey a Sad, Wet Meow Meow? What’s more pathetic: marrying the girl of your dreams just for her to turn you into the biggest cuck in the tristate area or slowly gaining consciousness but still pretending you don’t see it because what’s wrong with a little sobbing into your wine glass over your cheating wife’s affair? Geoffrey’s sweet, sensitive nature has paved way for him to be a meek, spineless fluff of a man that will stand outside on the front porch with bated breath for the return of his wife after she plows yet another woman into the mattress under the guise of running a multimillion dollar company (it’s both).

This is the same man who look his own sons in the eyes and know they deserve better but will quietly beg for it from across the room because communication is scary when your wife has walls as thick as the mascara that runs down your face. And just when you start to have an ounce of faith; you’re reminded this is the man who saw with his own four eyes actual hickies on the inside of his wife thighs and chooses to do- well. NOTHING. 😀 Because if you never acknowledge your cheating wife’s passionate affair, did it actually happen? 😏

What makes Nancy a Sad, Wet Meow Meow? Our famously known townie turned OC is the Queen of Melancholy. She's closeted, she's religiously repressed, she's h*rny, she's rich, she carries the burden of her deceased elder brother, she's the bane of her mother's existence. When she's not internalizing her self loathing, she's gazing longingly into the distance thinking about a life free of her mother's judgement and status that she never wanted in favor of running free through a sunflower field kissing beautiful women. And when she manages to actually show up for her two sons, she's still so emotionally detached that this will very much come up in a therapy session later. Her husband is almost on his knees begging for her to smile but she's still pining after her first love while being married to said husband (who's a second runner up for SWMM tbh).

She's a cheater, she's a liar, she's about to get into some risky, sketchy business, she disappoints her children, she's morally grey, she's a top, she's catholic, she's a cougar, she likes to splurge on dr*gs and strippers, the list goes on. ahhh.
