this mod adds a functional stroller, allowing sims to go for walks with their infants.
requires ep 'growing together' (sadly)

huge credit to waronkcc and their mod functional stroller. i would never be able to make something like this without their work.
the stroller works as a combination of a playmat and a bicycle.
there are six colors:
- can be placed in the inventory.
- model reference: anex flo stroller.
when clicking on the stroller as an adult sim, you’ll see the following interactions:
"walk around with baby" outcomes:
small social and fun gain;
small parenting skill gain.
returning home after the walk must be done manually:
grab the stroller handles and click on the ground near your home, then choose "go here with stroller".
if you want the baby to stay in the stroller after the walk, it’s recommended to pick them up and place them back into the stroller again (to refresh the baby’s position).
while moving, the infant can sleep, 'look around' or 'play with toys' (using this mod).
the look around interaction is added by me to all playmats.
it uses animations similar to 'look at toys', but works like 'tummy time'.
ideally, when you start a stroller walk with an adult sim, you should also start look around for the infant.
strong social and fun gain;
a buff during the interaction.
the biggest issue of this mod is that sometimes the infant doesn’t attach to the stroller
when the sim starts walking, the infant may stay in place. this happens randomly and i don’t have a guaranteed fix. sometimes picking up the infant, hugging or kissing them helps.
the most effective solution: sell the stroller and buy a new one
other important notes/issues:
the infant can sit in the stroller, but the animation looks off. i recommend keeping the infant lying down during movement;
during the walk, another parent may automatically pick up the infant. to avoid this, i recommend using look around while walking;
sometimes (especially on speed 3) the sim may visually freeze inside the stroller and not play the walking animation. sadly, i can’t fix this for now. restarting the interaction helps.
it’s important to understand that the walking animation itself doesn’t look good. this is partly due to my current skill level and partly due to game limitations.
if you download this mod during early access, please be prepared for updates. i would also really appreciate any feedback after you’ve played with the stroller! especially regarding the issue mentioned above: whether you encountered it and how it resolved for you.
