Well, time sure does fly when you’re having fun!!
Sadly, this marks the end of #simmonsweek, but perhaps only sort of! After all, for me, every week is Jemma Simmons appreciation week.
Firstly let me say a massive thank you to every single person who contributed, without you guys the week wouldn’t have happened, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing all of your wonderful works celebrating the amazing Jemma Simmons!!
I’d also like to say that if you were unable to make stuff at this time, you’re still so, so welcome to make posts on the days/themes and tag them with #simmonsweek. I’ll continue tracking the tag and will add anything else to this blog. Moreover if you want to message me here or here alerting me to any late contributions, you’re more than welcome to, whether that be in a few days or a few weeks/months, it’s never too late in my eyes!!
Finally, I am hoping that this won’t be the first and only Simmons appreciation week, or event! If there’s enough interest, I’m hoping to use this blog for future appreciation weeks (perhaps during the cold, lonely months of the winter hiatus when we’ll hopefully have lots of new Jemma material), the odd appreciation day here or there (simmonssaturday or simmonssunday anyone?), or even perhaps fic and graphic events/challenges/competitions. So, if you’ve got any ideas or requests for things I can do, or are interested in any of these ideas, please do let me know and I’ll do my best to arrange it!!
And thank you all once again for a fantastic #simmonsweek, I’ve loved seeing so much of our biochemist around tumblr this week!
