BACKGROUND: The eldest of four children, Simon was the mistake and his parents never let him forget it. They doted on his sisters while reminding him of all the burden he put on their late teens and early twenties, at no fault of his own, when he was born. His only sense of family came from his grandparents, though that relationship became harder to nurture when his parents moved them from Florida to California. Simon became withdrawn and angry, traits that carried him throughout most of his life. Despite his successes early in life with the fast rise of his start up company, he often felt alone. That was until he met her. Luna was and remains endlessly patient with him. Managing to break through the thick walls he used to guard himself, they found in each other the love they had always craved.
