okay okay look, genuine critiques and shit are FINE, but fucking hell, i've seen soooooo much shit that's just "hurr durr, edward's beard has 3 less hairs on the right side, fucking ubislop don't buy this shit fucking game" it's fine to not like a game, but you don't have to go out and rant about how "ubishit ruined your childhood favorite game" because they didn't bring back some niche, small details your stupid fucking 6 year old brain noticed

i sound like i'm just sucking off ubisoft here so im gonna switch sides for a sec

there's some actual, genuine critiques that are fine. some of the animation work sucks, the parkour less so because you don't notice it as often but in the cutscenes it is REAAAALLLY fucking disappointing and the combat is super, SUPER underwhelming when you're locked to just using your swords, they're probably gonna add more but this shit should've been in the game day one

then the DLC shit, is it weird and scummy, yeah, kinda, but like

you can play the game just fine without it, if you don't like the fantasy skins or whatever, you absolutely do not have to get them, you can unlock skins in the game perfectly okay on your own

fuck man, maybe my brain's just stuck in the 2010s, but i still have some sorta faith in ubisoft

then again, watch dogs 1 is like one of my favorite games ever, so what do i know about good taste

david, i've known the longest. i mean, i heard about his shooting a while ago. he actually requested to be transferred to sweden a year after that because nobody back in canada wanted to see him, even the doctors. (i dont know why he chose sweden, i think he told me it was because he met a girl over the internet and he wanted to move here?)

anyways, we met after he moved here. i don't know how to feel about the fact that my best friend is a mass murderer, though. i'm really fucking jealous of him and how hes managed to fix his life though.

heather's cool, i like her. i actually remember talking to her a bit before she ended up in one of those nightmare things. turns out, she actually used to work at one of those youth crisis hotlines and i ended up calling it. i dont wanna say anything more, but but she's nice, i'll leave her at that. daisuke's... something. he's fun to be around, it's nice to have someone that's actually pretty optimistic outside of heather. david's just kind of out of it 24/7 and i fucking suck. i probably talk to him the most whenever im not feeling like shit.

i dont know how or why daisuke or heather are here, just that sometimes, when the city goes into its fucking nightmare version, they show up here and start getting haunted by these monsters. apparently heather said its probably something to do with "silent hill" but i dont fffuckkin know man

david likes long guns since he usually has an L-flashlight, he's way better with them

im bigger on pistols, i know, its fucking stupid but its easy to carry them around, besides, i feel like max payne if i ever get the chance to use two at once

heather doesnt really like guns, so she usually just sticks to her switchblade. if things go to shit though, she usually takes one from us if she needs it (i usually carry her gun around in my bag every time we go out because we keep getting into shit)

and daisuke has this bat that he always brings if we go out at night, even if we dont get into anything. he told me that if he ever DID use a gun, he'd use jacket's piece from payday 2

also, AR. i know every fucking AK fanboy is gonna come crawling out of the woodwork with their "but muh reliability, 762 better!!111!!!!11!" but like holy SHIT man, it doesnt matter, a bullet is a fucking bullet"

kind of reminds me of the whole 45 ACP vs 9mm debate, stopping power doesnt fucking MATTER, id rather have 15 rounds than 7

i don't really use all the modern ARs though with the scopes and 30,000 lasers, i just like the ones with carry handles since they're easier to lug around. if i had one at home i'd probably try cable tying a flashlight to the barrel.
