Summary: Sana decides to surprise you after her tour.

"Babe, they're going to deliver a package today and I need you to promise me that you won't open it."
Your interest was piqued at Sana's request. You never opened any of her packages so you weren't sure why she was telling you to not open one in particular.
"I promise. Is there a reason why you're making me promise?"
"It's a surprise and I want to make sure that you're genuinely surprised. Now stop asking questions. Tell me about your day."
You were tempted to ask more about the package but you knew better. Sana would always reward you for your obedience. While she got ready for bed, you began to tell her everything you had planned for the day.

Sana had just barely arrived home when she hurried to hunt down the package. She grins when she spots it unopened in the living room. Despite knowing that you would listen, she still double checked the package for any sign of tampering. After thoroughly looking it over, it was clear that you hadn't opened.
Opening up the package, she can't help but admire the items she had ordered. It had taken her a great deal to decide on what to get and she was more than happy with her choices. She knew you were going to love the surprise.
With you coming home in a few hours, Sana had to hurry in setting everything up. Before she could get ready, Sana prepared your favorite dish. She would've just ordered taking out, knowing it would be hard to sit through a proper meal but she needed to throw you off about the surprise.

You arrive home to the smell of your favorite food and Sana welcoming you home. You hug her tightly before she pulls you in for a deep kiss.
Sana mumbles between kisses. The two of you eventually pull away for a much needed breath.
"I missed you too, baby. Why didn't you tell me you were coming in today? I could've come home earlier."
You follow Sana to the kitchen as she explain her reasoning.
"I know. I just wanted to prepare you dinner to surprise you. It wouldn't very well be a surprise if you were home and I was cooking."
You chuckle while nodding in agreement. Despite half of the day being gone, you still had two more days to spend with her.
"I suppose you're right. Are you only here for the weekend...?"
Sana sets your plates down on your respective seats before grabbing a bottle of wine and serving the two of you. You attempted to help her but she declined the help.
"I'm yours for the week. I won't have to be back in the studio until next week."
Hearing this just made your day even better. You made a mental note to send an email about taking the week off to spend time with Sana. With various comebacks throughout the year, Sana's free times were rare.
"Good. I'm already thinking of all the things we're going to be doing..."
"I already have one thing in mind."
Sana cuts you off as she eyes you, making you nearly choke on the food you were chewing. You take a large gulp of your drink and clear your throat.
"....I can't wait."

After the dishes were washed and the kitchen cleaned, the two of you headed to the living room. It was hard to not stare at the opened packaged sitting on the coffee table.
"Will you kneel for me, puppy?" Grabbing a pillow for your knees, Sana took a seat on the couch as she placed the pillow by her feet. Your legs automatically moved on their own as you moved to kneel on the pillow. Sana gives you a smile as she gently cups your chin to gently make you look up at her. "You've been such a good girl for me. I know it must've been hard for you to not get any relief all these months." It didn't go unnoticed when you squeezed your thighs together. Sana would normally reprimand you but she decided to let it go this time. You had been deprived for so long. "...how you had to watch me pleasure myself while you couldn't do a thing." Your breathing grew heavier the more Sana continued to talk. "...how cruel it was of me to make you use your toy and then deprive you of any relief." You whined, remembering how difficult it was for you to fall asleep. For someone that acted sweet in the public eye, Sana could be cruel when she wanted to be. "....All that so Mommy had a show to watch when she touched herself." Your lips parted as Sana slid in her thumb in. She watched you suck her thumb for a minute before take it out. "I think my good girl deserved a reward for all she's done." Sana had planned to drag out the surprise even more but she couldn't wait anymore. She knew her panties were ruined at this point and she needed you to take care of her problem. Grabbing the box, she pulls out a gold link necklace. She holds it closer for you to get a better look.
The necklace was simple chain necklace that was held together by a small lock at the bottom.
"Sana, this is..."
"Nothing but the best for my puppy. I even had it engraved." Sana turns the lock over to show you the elegant 'S' engraved on the back. "What do you think?"
"I love it."
"Good. I have the key too so only I can take it off."
You didn't know what you had done to deserve Sana.
"Can you please put it on me?"
"Lets hold off on that for tonight. I have something else for you."
Sana sets the necklace down on the coffee table and grabs a leather collar and leash from the box.
"I couldn't forget the collar and leash for my puppy. This one has puppy engraved on it. What do you think?"
Much like her respective color from the group, the collar was purple. It had a tag and a ring attached for the loop.
"Can you please put it on me, Mommy?"
Sana grins and nods.
"Of course, puppy." You turn around and move your hair to the side for to put the collar on your. Once it's buckled, you turn back around. "It's not too tight?"
"It's perfect."
"Good. What are your colors?"
"Green for good, yellow to slow down and red to stop."
"Good girl. Make sure to use them at any point, okay?" When you nod, Sana clips the leash to your collar and gently yanks it to pull you closer so she can kiss you. "I love you."
"I love you too."
You whisper against her lips. Sana smiles and stands up. You stand up as she starts walking and then stop when she turns to face you.
"Ah. Ah. Ah. Puppies can't walk. Crawl."
You gulped loudly when her voice dropped an octave. You had never seen this side of Sana but it made you excited.

After hearing APT, you were surprised to hear that the rest of the album were songs about Rosé's ex. You starred at the lyrics continuing to display on your screen as you listened to the rest of her album. Being a masochist, you heard all 12 songs in hopes to hear her sing about moving on. It was upsetting to hear her sing about wanting to get back together with him even after singing how much of a red flag he was. With her waiting for your reaction to her unreleased album, you did your best to show that you actually liked what she had been working on for a year.
"So what do you think, (y/n)? I need your honest opinion about it."
Pausing the music, you looked over at her hopeful eyes. You knew how much time and effort she had done for the album. All the late nights and constant travels just so her first album was perfect. The man had destroyed her and you weren't sure why she was singing about returning to him. It made no sense but you couldn't tell her how you truly felt.
"I think it's great, Rosie. I know your album is going to be a hit."
You wince as she screams in a high pitch from excitement to hear that you had liked her album. Your brows furrow as she stands up and makes her way over to you. She bends down, wrapping her arms around your waist to pull you in for a tight hug. You tense up for a second, then relaxing as you melted in her embrace. For just a second, you pretended like you hadn't heard her album.
"Don't worry! I'll get you a signed copy." She tells you as she pulls away. You watch as she walks back to her seat, grabbing her things. "I know the artist, you know." Turning around, she winks to you before starting to make her way out the studio. "I need to meet up with the producers for last minute touch ups so I need to run. Am I going to see you at the release party?"
"Yeah....."
"Perfect! I'll see you then."
Once you watched the door close behind her, you let your tears spill. You were never going to be able to compete with the man that seemed to still hold her heart hostage.

The day of Rosé's album release party had come and you couldn't get out of bed. Just the thought of possibly seeing the two of them together again made you sick to your stomach. Calling out of work, you stayed in bed all morning to mentally prepare for evening. You only got out when you were starting to get a headache from going hungry all morning. Without an appetite, you just grabbed the first thing that would give you energy to get ready for the party.
You wait until the last possible minute to get ready. In the middle of fixing your makeup, you get a message from Lisa, letting you know that she would be picking you up. The universe was clearly giving you signs that you needed to go to the party because the idea of telling them that you couldn't go because your car had broken down seemed like a good idea.
With Lisa coming to pick you up, you hurried to get ready. In the midst of the chaos to finish up, you regretted waiting for late to be ready. To finish in time, you had forgone some things and you were grateful that Lisa didn't say anything about your outfit when you got in her car.
"I'm not going to lie, you look like you haven't slept in ages."
You don't say anything as you lean your head on the window to look out at the passing buildings. With the looming possibility of Rosé getting back with her ex, you weren't in a mood to joke.
"That's because I haven't."
"Is everything okay, (y/n)?"
Lisa dropped her teasing tone for a serious one once she heard your reply. It wasn't like you to show others your true feelings but you were so tired. Your heart was hurting and you weren't sure how to heal it again.
"Did you hear Chae's album?"
"Nooooo. She refused to let me listen to it. Telling me that I needed to wait until it was officially released....wait! You got to listen to it?! No fair! Why did she let you listen to it first? I'm literally in the same group as her."
You can't help but quietly laugh at her reaction over being able to listen to the album first. Leave it to Lisa to always cheer up a room. Your smile then falls when you remember the lyrics Rosé had written and sung.
"It's about her ex. About wanting to get back together with him despite his many flaws and red flags."
Just talking about the album gets you angry. The album could've been about anything and she had chosen to basically dedicate it to her ex.
"You're kidding. There's no way that she actually wrote about him. Not with everything she went through because of him."
You turned to her, giving her a teary smile. Lisa had always known about your true feelings for your best friend so you knew you could confide in her.
"I feel so stupid, Lisa. I thought she was over him. I don't even care that I lost my chance again but did it really have to be him. The same man who always had her crying every night." As you talked, you couldn't hold back your tears. "T..the same one who always disappointed her. The one who never loved her the way she loved him."
Lisa parked her car on the side of the road and reached over to comfort you. In her arms, you bawled your eyes out.
"It's going to be okay, (y/n). All we can do is be happy for her. She's been working on this album for almost a year. Let's take it one step at a time. Tonight, we focus on her release party." You pull away once you're able to calm down. Lisa gives you a small smile, reaching over to wipe your tears away with her thumbs. "Give me a smile. A pretty girl like you shouldn't be sad."
You rolled your eyes, trying to hold back your smile.
"God, you're ridiculous Lis."
Her giggle made you laugh.
"Yeah, but you love me.

At the party, you're not surprised to find the same man you thought you would never see again. You were rooted in the entrance, watching Rosé laugh about something he had said.
"One step at a time, (y/n). Let's just enjoy the party, okay?"
Lisa whispered to you as she placed her hand on your back and gently guided you to where Jennie and Jisoo were. Once you greeted them, all your attention was on Rosé and the ex.
"I told her it wasn't going to be a good idea."
You jump, startled when you suddenly heard Jisoo's voice closer to you. Turning around, you find that she was standing much closer to you while looking at Rosé. Lisa and Jennie had seemed to disappear somewhere in the crowd.
"What?"
"Her album. She wrote it about him. I'm guessing you heard it too from the way you're glaring at him."
"....I just don't understand why? The two of them broke up 2 years ago. How could she still be hung up on him?"
"The same way you're still hung up on her."
Her answer makes you drop your glass of wine, startling the people around you. You turn to give them a sheepish smile as you help the waiters clean up your mess. Jisoo joins you in helping and soon enough you're left alone with her.
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
You weren't sure how she knew. Lisa was the only one who knew and you were confident that she hadn't said anything.
"I have eyes, (y/n). I see the way you look at her when you think no one is looking. I thought you would make a move all those months ago but you stayed quiet. I was silently rooting for you. The two of you would make a cute couple."
You could trust Jisoo. Especially over the fact that she knew all those months ago and Rosé seemed to still be clueless about your feelings towards her.
"We're best friends. It was doomed from the beginning. I never stood a chance."
"Did you even try?" Jisoo takes your silence as her answer. "I love Rosé but she could be really oblivious about a lot of things. Love being one of them. If you never said anything, Rosé was never going to know how you felt about her."
You clenched your jaw, trying to not let her get a rise out of you. You knew she wanted to get a reaction out of you but you weren't going to give in. Taking a couple of deep breaths, you turned to look at her.
"I've known Rosé longer than you have. You have no idea of what you're talking about."
"Then why is she back with him?"
You turned to where Jisoo was pointing to find Rosé kissing her ex. Without saying anything, you left. Jisoo kept quiet as you ran off again.

Lisa had only been gone for 10 minutes and you had managed to disappear.
"Where's (y/n)?"
"Like a coward, she left." Lisa turned to glare at Jisoo but the older girl paid her no attention. "I spoke the truth and she didn't take my advice."
"Jisoo! What is your problem? I told you to watch her, not run her off!"
As Jennie returns, Lisa shoves her wine to her hands and runs after you.
"What happened?"
"I was just tired of no one saying anything. They'll thank me later."
Jennie finished the rest of Lisa's wine before grabbing another glass from a passing waiter. She needed something strong to deal with this mess.
"I hope you know what you're doing."
"Rosé was a lost cause, Jen. We helped as much as we could. She needs to realize on her own that he's not good for her. (Y/n) can't keep waiting years for that day to come. Not when she could be with someone that will reciprocate her feelings."
"but (y/n) doesn't like Lisa like that. She's been in love with Rosé for years."
Jisoo turns to her with a small smile.
"Has she? Or is she just used to the feeling? I have eyes, Jen. (Y/n) might have not realized it but there's something between her and Lisa. I know she'll eventually realize that she has grown feelings for Lisa."
"Since when did you become an expert in love, Jisoo?"
Jisoo wraps her arms around the younger girl, pulling her closer to her.
"Since you made me the happiest girl in the world."
Jennie rolls her eyes, gently hitting Jisoo's arm.
