I used to have this red bicycle that I rode everyday to school when I was in seventh grade. My classmates mocked me a lot because of it and I hated it. I thought, it’s a ton of hard times. One day I found out they had taken my bicycle and decorated it as a joke and placed it in the center of the school basketball court. But instead of being angry this time, I laughed. And so did my school mates. Now I’m in my last year, and I realize I’ve spent too much time hating things I should’ve enjoyed. I understand they actually just wanted to make friends with me. But too bad, now they’re just some boys I used to know.

Dear Samantha, Kate, Mack and Sarah Beth:  We all could learn to enjoy the things that we hate <3 The reason behind embarrassment such as this is usually a low self worth.  (when you think less of yourself, when you don’t feel beautiful, when you don’t feel worthy, or when you compare yourself to others)   These are the things that bind our opportunities.  Oh...so many missed opportunities in my life!  Just because I didn’t “feel” worthy.  Don’t believe those voices...any voices that encourage negative, self loathing thinking!  I love you dearly!  Sending you all my love!

Sunday Morning

Happy Sunday Morning my lovies!  

Already, this day has started out to be divine!  We are due to have cloudy skies...upper 80′s with pops of gorgeous sunlight throughout the day!  Yay!  It’s Summer TIME!!!

I have a hard time being away from my babies especially on Sundays...

This is a major drawback to my job.  I need my children and they need me.  There HAS to be balance...and thus far, there is no balance.  My personal life and professional life are requiring more than I can give.  My heart aches to be at home guiding my children.  This is where I need to reassess my priorities.  Is success in this area possible?  Can I find a medium between making money...and being a mom?  I’m more than sure...I am positive!  <3

My second born, Kate, is my veterinarian.  She’s 10 and just adores and has a deep respect for all animals.  She is brilliant and beautiful!!!  Recently, she brought home a cat that looks identical to this one.  We named him Tom, had him fixed and kept him.  He is very playful and I could see him enjoying this!  

I could watch this all day!

We so have to try this on Tom!  <3

HELLO WORLD!

I am so excited about starting my very own blog!  I am letting the world in on my secret life (behind the scenes) as keeper of the grist mill and single (but engaged to be married next month) mother of 4 adorable littles.  I have hypo-thyroidism, I take antidepressants :) and I have Attention Deficit Disorder.  I am a Christian...first and for-most.  That is my choice...you get to choose your place in life <3 that is the beauty of creation!  I am forgetful.  I am imperfect and I am beautiful (thanks Travis, Angie, my uncle Ricky and my granny for helping me see that).  I am happy!  

My hopes are that you and my sweet littles will enjoy reading this sometime in the future and know the REAL ME!  <3
