hello first off thank you so much for doing the lord's work, you are awesome for creating this blog and doing what you do for the community! thank you so so much for this! 💖 i only recently noticed that studio papillon deactivated, which is such a bummer as they made amazing cc. their website is down too so none of the links work anymore. do you have an archive for their cc or know if it's still available somewhere?

Hi! I absolutely love the fact that you are doing the hunt of old cc and hoping for many more, but if you can, I would love to see one for Forever & Always Sims/Valeocatty/SilentRebelSims as her current(ly inactive) tumblr does not have all of her cc hair and the F&A Blogspot has sadly been deleted for years :( It'd be great to see quite a good number of these hairs as a whole again :3

Hi! I've been looking around and I found this backup by DarkCCFinds that includes a "Nelo-Style" and "Drippd" if those are alternate names for Simannova: here...

Compressed SFS Link

However, since Mediafire paywalls bulk-downloading, I used JDownloader2 to download everything (that SFS link). I also found that none of the files were compressed, and therefore had a large filesize, so I had to reorganize all of that (seriously, it was around 514 MB total, COMPRESSED INTO 60 MB!). Sorry for the lack of proper thumbnails. It's harder to find things that are only hosted on dead Wixsites because they don't cooperate with Wayback Machine :(

All are AF clothes, including tops, jeans, some outfits, plus a USPS box object for some reason.

Okay... is there something going on with SimFileShare? This is the third time today that I tried to download something (that has many downloads already!) from SFS and I get... this XML error. Are they switching servers or doing maintenance right now?

I have NEVER gotten this UNTIL today! And I've tried multiple browsers, even my phone!

Okay guys, I have tested a few things and it seems like this is happening with NEWER SFS links, links that literally worked for me a few days ago!

@simerelligiftshoppe's links refuse to work now, and the normal map replacements from @nectar-cellar have this error now even though I just downloaded from both of them a few days ago!

The timeframe seems to be from after September 20th, especially links uploaded around the 24th or 25th. Affected links may have died yesterday or the day before that!

🚨RECENT SFS LINKS ARE BREAKING!!🚨

I checked and I also found that links uploaded around the 21st to the 25th (and maybe beyond that) have randomly died today! This is extremely dangerous for archiving CC, luckily it seems to just be recently uploaded CC so the creators are still active!!

here are what I tested:

@rollo-rolls - the newest outfit set works but the S-Club Ariel Hair  and Backtrack Lilith Crop Top don't! those were uploaded in that 24th-25th bracket!!

@nemiga-sims-archive - The Simpliciaty Cecilia Hair broke and that was from the 22nd!!

@joojconverts - The latest TCS mega set is broken on sfs!

but newest links from the 29th or so work! what is happened with sfs?

@sims2packrat This is probably affecting other Sims SFS uploads, both TS2 and TS4 as well!

Creators, check your downloads from the 22nd to the 25th (and around that) and make sure to have mirror/second link uploads!

DaisySims 3 / DS3 Archive

I have collected what I could from DaisySims3, with the help of @sideshowsnob!

For those who don't know, DS3 was a Chinese website like MTSims-Cakestore where Chinese creators could post links to their CC. Unfortunately, the original website went defunct some time ago, and while they had a Lofter site, many download pages were mysteriously missing and the rest were locked behind Baidu or VDisk. VDisk.. doesn't work and Baidu has been locked to anyone that isn't from Mainland China, unless you are able to obtain an account (attempting to sign up via the international site gives you the error that mentions not accepting accounts from Macau, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or other foreign countries; I don't remember the exact text, but it mentions those places specifically).

However, I have a Baidu account, so I have rounded up everything I could find, even if the creator included a backup Mediafire link. Many still had dead Baidu links, but for some items, I was able to find a reupload. I'm still missing a few items, though.

Hello, I love your archive! I can't describe the joy I felt finding old CC I had when I first started playing that I thought were lost forever. I noticed that you have some hair retextures archived and I wanted to know if you are aware of Paint-Stroke? They use to make hair retextures but since 2016 all of their Blogspot posts are gone except one informing followers about moving to a new page (PaintMeKatty). They have some of their old hairs but a lot are missing. I'd love to see them again ♥

Hello! I finallyyyyy had enough time to begin an IrKatty / Paintstroke / PaintMeKatty archive! Unfortunately I can tell a lot are still missing, but I found a lot + some missing CAS clothes and eye contacts she never reuploaded. I also mirrored all her second blog uploads (the retextures she made after deleting all her old ones) in the subfolder called "From Second Blog". Some hairs that I found were retextured again in this folder, but I think there are a few, slight differences. Such a shame she deleted all the old ones and never reuploaded most of them back in 2016; they are so unique!

1. BMV deactivated her Tumblr years ago and not everything’s archived. I was going through Lana’s blog and not everything is there either. Her Blogspot’s still up but a lot of links to Tumblr are dead forever (FOR NOW I know reblogs exist)

2. Some of her download links were misbehaving.

Not all her stuff was on Mediafire but enough was so I decided to grab everything I could regardless of where it was stored.

Strawberry Acres Save file 2.1 (Updated)

Hi! some who see this might think "hey! I've seen this before?" That is because this save file used to be public, but then I deactivated my previous blog and I took a few months break from tumblr.

I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to continue with this save, but then I just got really into it again so I had to give it a new chance.

This version has the same stuff and the "theme" or whatever is the same. But I gave it a new look, rebuilt and renovated all lots in some way, changed colors, added more plants and stuff to do, just a lot of things! It's so much better now in my opinion :)

So to list things that you might wanna now!

It has 30 community lots and 28 residential homes, a total of 14 are furnished at this moment. (There will be updates with more furnished ones and I also plan to expand some of them and stuff like that)

I have ALL packs expect for the Katy Perry pack, so y'all probably gonna need most of them.

It has all the type of lots I think you might need and want when playing in a world, nothing necessary should be missing :)

All the necessary cc will be included with the save file, but you have to grab the world and cc from the original creator too!

It's not populated, there just isn't time for me to do that.

(Update, did some super small changes)

I just did some minor updates to the residential lots and that's it for now! You can expect more these following weeks if all goes as I planned :)
