Holy sjdhasdjah!! HOW??

Or, more precisely, a cc cocktail consisting of Lowedeus’ moving clouds, iCad’ blue skydome recolor, the Custom post effects mod, Eva’s swooping dragon conversion and the Store Castle kit, with a wee bit of Photoshop thrown in for good measure. :) I don’t have too much cc in at the moment (still gathering stuff), but it’s simply amazing how far we can transform our game with just the right mix of mods, isn’t it? Seriously, all the love for the S2 community! <3

@spacetowaste and @digitalangels, that depends - would you be willing to learn how to use medieval weaponry and magic to fight off enchanted beasts and malevolent spirits? Cause that’s kinda what I plan to put my poor settlers through, besides the classic ‘gains skills and gets promotions in order to unlock features’ BACC gameplay. I... have a sneaking suspicion that both my sims and I are biting off more than we can chew with this setup, but we’ll see how it works out in the end. :)

D’awww, thank you! ^___^ Dragon Valley was among my inspirations for this hood, so I’m glad to hear that it shows. I was honestly so happy when I found a conversion of that DV watchtower thingy for Sims 2; I basically told myself right away, ‘I have to find a way to fit this into my new hood somehow’... and then I remembered that I had added a tiny island with a lighthouse the last time I played this map. Replacing the lighthouse with the watchtower was all it took to give my new hood that lovely Dragon Valley vibe :D (well, that, and a whole bunch of other small tweaks and additions, but pshht, who’s splitting hairs).

Thank you, and good guess! ^____^ It’s not the Tree of life itself, but it is a functional tree by Sun&Moon (harvestable olive tree), so you weren’t too far off. :D

Thanks! I am trying not to use it on like everyone right now. I love those kind of natural looking long hairs that aren’t fixed to one side or another. Minor collision issues sometimes but I’m a nit with extreme slider values.

Thanks! I REALLY like it. Like I’m leaning towards making lots for it even rather than just a blank map. Probably should just do both cause I know there’s a lot of people like me who like to build up their own lots and organize things in their own way.

Mine does this shit too! I have to always check and make sure my expansions are all selected every time because there have been way too many times it'll just load the base game on me. So annoying.

Cloooose? I know what I'd change on his nose, I'd make it more uniform all the way down. The bridge between his eyes is about right. Maybe less curve? Though I'd have to see both of their profiles.

Yeah I should go in and do a closer view of his nose and such on the ts4 side. I also need to get in there and see what I want to recolor. I’m like wanting to REDO EVERYTHING before I play again cause ya know how I get. heh.

So uhm... not that I was planning it on making it so long but I didn’t had much time to reply in the first place, however, I am on summer break now so things will be somewhat easier, even though i’m still living a busy life! Maybe too busy for a teenager/adult like me

Thank you! ^-^ I’m looking forward to it as well! It’s going to be a hell of a road for the two of them, since I kind of gave away already how different they are compared to most kids and how they do create a really nice balance, friendship-wise.

I think this is such a sweet and thoughtful story. In particular I love how you've kept the sims relatively MM without being... well, tapioca. They're all quite pretty. Mortimer reminds me of the Bug-Catching Kid from Legend of Zelda 3. xD

Oh god you’re right XD I didn’t even think of that! The only thing they don’t have in common is : 1. where the fuck is Link. 2. He’s not in bed ^- ~

Anyways! Thanks! That really means a lot to me! :) I do know that the other story won’t be as MM and gameplay-ish as this one. I didn’t want people to somehow get confused with the both of them being the same thing. So that would meaaaan Greenie’s gonna test those Photoshop skillz which she doesn’t have but somehow does! :D

Thank you for tweaking the hell out of Bella but still leaving her looking like Bella. She looks pretty hideous as a child and makes a horrific adult, but there's nothing some TLC won't cure.

Oh god she does! I actually compared Original ts3 bella with the sims 2 bella and I can see what EA tried to do but... it really didn’t turn out as good as thought probably. Which is funny! Because sunset valley is like filled with pudding and unique sims! Which makes me wonder if EA let 2 people create the assigned sim, or just a sim in general whereas one would make unique looking ones, while the other person would make... crappy ones. Who knows!

For the one I have though... I aged the adult bella down, tweaked her jaw a bit since it was a bit too much for a child. And... yeah! Then i also realised how I don’t have much makeup for kids at all XD I mean... facial-defining one, like, say cheek shading etc.

i have the same difficulty to get a tan! in the first day i look like a shrimp (really red!!!) and after that i turn back to snow white!

I feel so bad for people who get reddish instead of tanned once they touch the sun! Or... wait the sun touches them... I’ll shut up :P

Anyways! have a free hug! (As long as you’re not sunburnt! That wouldn’t be too pleasant >.<) Because I feel really bad for you! 

For me though... I... just don’t tan. Like there’s no reddish, or well, I get a little, almost not recognizable, reddish, and the day after I’ll still be white as snow! I do have cute little freckles on my hand though! :D

That hair suits his face so well, it was weird to put him another hair ahah. It was also strange to see him without the intense black eyeshadow. I lowered the intensity on his younger self cuz it felt weird to get rid of it all. Y YES IT IS c: I have missed my game.
