Hi again! Sorry for my terrible absence this summer 😭

I somehow fell back into a full-on Kingdom Hearts obsession again (I’m blaming Nintendo for this one). It’s been so much fun replaying all the games and experiencing everything again though. The older I get, the more I appreciate the characters and connect with their stories. 🥺 I’ve cried way too much during these play sessions haha. 😢

But I have been working on Sims stuff here and there during breaks, just not nearly as much as I’d like! :)

Hi guys! Just wanted to pop in and let you know that I’m alive and doing well. 😄

I moved back in with my parents for the summer in May, and honestly I’ve mostly just been enjoying being home and spending time with my family and boyfriend. Other than that I’ve been completely hooked on Pokopia, and have been playing pretty much every day since I got back home, which is probably the main reason I’ve been so quiet lately. 😅

Well today I finally turned on my PC for the first time in awhile, and it kind of feels like I’m ready to get back into things. 🙈 I’ll start posting again once I have something fun or interesting to share! ✨

Do you have a collection file for Strawberry Acres of items you commonly used in the houses? I'm filling out the empty houses so I can put more townies in and a collection of the common furniture would really help! No worries if not, just thought I'd ask!

So I changed my GShade preset because I just wasn’t feeling the old one anymore, and I’m so glad I did because this new one might be my favorite ever!! 😇

Today I’ve also been updating the landscaping around my builds. I added two more in-game plants, and I’m currently working on adding more cedar and spruce trees to the less woodsy side of town. I think I’m gonna add more trees there in general to make it feel more cozy and like a big forest! 😊🌲

Hello there, I’m glad to hear you found your way back to TS3! 😊

Unfortunately I don’t plan on uploading any of my creations separately. You’re not the first person to ask, and I’m really glad you like my house, but my builds are specifically made for this world. ☹️

With that being said, once the world is finished you’re totally free to save the house to your library and use it however you want. 😄

Thank you! I used Strawberry Acres as a base, but I’ve pretty much removed everything and rebuilt it from scratch to make it my own :)

So I finished another house exterior and floor plan today, this one’s for the town mayor’s family.

I went with brick and those fancy stone columns because I think it's giving that "rich family that’s been around forever and makes the decisions around here” vibe. 🌚

Pinewoods lake update! 🌞

So I'm done with all the townies for Pinewoods Lake, and you know what that means? I'm going to make a list here for me to tick off as things get done, just to kinda let you know where we're at with the progress. 🤠

Right now these are the things I still have left to do:

- Build 12 more houses

- Furnish 16 more homes (3 out of 19 furnished homes so far!!)

- Build a beach lot (and YES, I deleted the other one 🫨)

- Create a festival grounds park

- Decorate the consignment store

- Figure out and build something for a small plot in the town center (please give me ideas, i've included a picture at the end of the post)

- Build a pond / forest on the lot beside the festival grounds

- Build like a watch tower by the military airfield - Create a sim living there, i'm thinking a crazy loner that's obsessed with unexplainable stuff like aliens and shit lol 👽

- I have to populate the town, and create a save file to add stuff and story-related things that aren't possible in CAW! - This is super boring, but the last step is going to be playtesting. If any of my mutuals here on tumblr want to be part of that, just let me know. 😘

I’m moving back to my parents for the summer this Thursday, so I’ve basically stopped buying groceries for the last couple of weeks. I’m now living off whatever scraps I can find in the back of my pantry. ☠️ This is genuinely hell on earth. I can’t wait to get home and have unlimited and FREE access to food again 🫪

The progress is a bit slow right now, but this is where I’m at with the world so far. At the moment I’m decorating and giving all my old townies makeovers, which honestly takes way more time than I expected. But it’s really important to me that everything turns out the way I want it to. I also wanted to mention that I won’t be building on the forest side of the world for now. I don’t want to burn myself out on TS3, so I’m saving that part as a future project instead.

Well, that’s another finished house. 😌 It turned out VERY big too, there's like 8 bedrooms.. I don’t even know how, but my building flow has been really good this past week! 🙂‍↔️

Here are two houses I just built, nothing big or fancy. But i’m pretty sure at least one of them will end up being the starter home for the town. :)

Well, that’s it for this traditional / victorian-style looking "neighborhood". I think I’ll go for a more modern street of homes next. 🙂‍↕️
