hi, i was wondering how you converted the remy dress from sentate into a top?
Through Sims 4 Studio.
You have to import a copy of the cc file you want, into the Sims 4 Studio mod folder, once the file is in the mod folder for S4S, you would open the sims 4 studio, once open you would click "cas" - standalone recolor, it would then bring up the entire game catalog of content, you would have to filter content to "custom" it would then bring up the file, or files you have in the mod folder of sims 4 studio. The dress for example would then pop up, you can shift + click, for all swatches, or just click the one you want to use. Once selected, you'd click "next" and it will have you name the file. I usually keep the name of whatever I'm using.. so I would use "remy dress" but add on my username, so I know it's something I converted (because then i'll throw that piece of content into my specific sorted named cc folder for my game). Once it's named, it'll bring up all of the swatches, and texture, mesh, etc. You will want to click "Categories" there will be a drop down, clickable menu, that let's you choose what category you want that piece to go into.. I'm sure you could add it to accessories, but I clicked "top" so that I could pair it with a pair of jeans. Once you selected what category you want it to go into, you click "apply to all swatches" (it saves you from manually going to each) I then would click "save" on the bottom right of the S4S, and it'll save to wherever you have your copy of the filed go to. For me, it goes to my desktop. So I would then open my Documents-EA-Sims 4-Mods-Clothing-Specific Named Folder document and drag/move the desktop file, to that specific file where I wanted my CC piece to go. Once in game, it should appear in the correct category.
I hope this helps! Also to add, this is for my personal game.. I'm not re-distributing the CC for others, or putting behind any paywalls, any conversions if for my game, and lookbooks solely. It's best to respect the creators terms & conditions when given, converting pieces for your own game, and personal use should be fine :)
