When it was time for everyone to come home for dinner, Ace was waiting for them. He could barely contain his excitement because he got the promotion! He’d been waiting on this one for a while,

Scarlet guessed Justin wasn’t the most popular kid in school, but she really enjoyed talking to him. She liked having a friend who was into the same nerdy stuff as her. The Renegades didn’t really seem too interested in that sort of thing.

They exchanged gaming ID’s and agreed to play a few tournaments against each other that night!

So.. Scarlet took her advice and went upstairs to introduce herself to Justin. After all, being the new kid meant you had to put yourself out there to make friends.

She was pleasantly surprised by Justin. He seemed like a really nice guy!

Scarlet headed down to the living room to introduce herself to the Delgatos, who invited her to sit and watch TV with them. Scarlet really liked them, they seemed like really decent people and were very kind and welcoming to her.

When Scarlet mentioned she spends a lot of time on her computer and playing video games, Mrs Delgato told Scarlet about her teenage son Justin.

“Justin loves all of that sort of stuff too! And he’d be about your age.. why don’t you go up and say hi to him? He’s a bit shy at school and it would be nice for him to meet someone his age who he has something in common with!”

As they all headed inside out of the cold, Scarlet left the kiddies to play with their toys in Evie’s room.

Both Ace and the Delgato’s loved Romeo and Evies friendship, they all agreed they brought out the best in each other: Evie (who is usually very shy and angelic) really comes out of her shell around Romeo, and she makes sure to keep Romeo (who can sometimes be too outgoing and cheeky for his own good) out of trouble.

For two toddlers they really seem to have made a great connection!

“Eeeebie!” Romeo squealed as soon as he saw his best friend on the porch.

“My Womeo!” Evie cooed back at him, both of them giggling like crazy as they ran into each other for a hug.

This was their usual method of greeting each other every morning at daycare.

Scarlet and Romeo wrapped up warm and brought Simba with them over to the Delgato household. Romeo was so excited to see his best friend Evie!

Ace headed off early to work (he’s hoping to get a promotion today!) and left Scarlet to babysit her nephew and take him on his play date on this wonderful Sunday morning.
