A new (old-looking) dacha in Vologda.
The many roofs and domes of Vologda
Some more Luzhniki bus terminal
I realized that Luzhniki needed a bus terminal.
This one is - style-wise - inspired by the ÄernĂœ Most one in Prague.
Started rebuilding the Tukayev mosque/library (based on the old mosque in Ufa) as well
Some of the inspiration behind the Vologda world lots. I say inspiration - because I'm bad at re-creating 1:1 real buildings, and I feel like a lot of the buildings and their uses need to be "simmified" to fit with the sims style but anyway - the lots are mostly not finished anyway, there is still a lot of tweaking and furnishing to do:
The Gallery (Tretyakov Gallery)
It's coming together nicely.
Started a completely new lot in the Vologda world, a sanatorium/spa/pool.
Inspired by the grand wellness/vacation resorts of the 1970s-1980s, specifically these "pyramids" in UstroĆ, Poland.
Actually opened back my Vologda save after such a loooong time. I've got a job now, and finally moved the old computer with the sims 3 to my new apartment , and I'm back to playing the game as a way of relaxing in the evening so who knows. This world might end up finished one day?
Kingston, the workersâ quarter in Lost Heaven
i always love when the era-appropriate cars drive around the city
Dreamy dreamy Chinatown, Almond eyes of brown Hearts seems light and life seems bright In dreamy Chinatown
Bertoneâs Auto Service in Lost Heaven, inspired, of course, by the location of the same name in Mafia and Mafia: Definitive edition. Iâm back home for Christmas, which means back at the PC with my Sims save, so I can play/build a little bit :)
the Zavesky Observatory which actually serves as the gallery, inspired by the observatory of the same name from Mafia 2:
work on the Lost Heaven sanatorium
(itâs just a normal hospital but it would seem dumb to have so many stairs leading towards a hospital, so....itâs a sanatorium)
One of the two âofficial wedding venuesâ in Vologda. This small wooden âchurchâ is less pompous than the St. Basilâs Cathedral in the city center; and sims can get married there and actually have a lunch/dinner with their wedding guests as well.
Finally got to building the theater in Vologda, The color and style are inspired by the Samara theater:
But thereâs still a lot of work to do!
