The charming adventurer everyone’s talking about — the one who’s survived Mt. Komorebi’s summit, uncovered ancient temples, and made anthropology sexy again: Leon Archer.

What you may not know is how their story began.

Suki Chen was sent to write a feature. A freelance journalist with a reputation for going deep. The assignment: “Follow him into the jungle. Bring back a story.” Chen didn’t expect to fall for Leon between poisonous snakes and hanging vines, in the wild heat of Selvadorada.

Tucked away above a small supermarket in Willow Creek, The Golden Dragon is their go-to spot. And if you happen to pass by, you might spot them over steaming bowls of ramen—briefly back from Gibby Point after yet another guest appearance on The Morning Show.

Welcome to La Vecchia Trattoria, an old family-owned Italian restaurant in the heart of Tartosa. 🇮🇹🍝

This restaurant was created for my new Let's Play in twitch, Le Ricette della Nonna, where we'll spend the summer following the Moretti family: Nonna Martha, Nonno Marcelo, and their grandson, Luka.

I wanted this build to feel authentic and full of memories, as if the same family had been serving homemade Italian recipes here for generations. Warm colors, rustic details, climbing ivy, and a welcoming atmosphere… every corner was designed to tell a story.

I hope you'll love this little corner of Tartosa as much as I do. 🤍
