Tired but grateful.
SUNKEN GLOW SPOILERS
We've seen this side of Xavier many times, but I never get tired of admiring how Xavier is simultaneously so modest about his experiences while being a decisive go-getter about them at the same time.
It's honestly so inspiring and attractive to watch someone just... Do Things. He cares so much, makes an action to assist what he cares about, and downplays it as if he didn't change another person's life in some way.
I can't play a certain game anymore. It always needs to download a huge amount of whatever it was... and I don't feel that interested in the events anymore. I feel like the events go by too fast, while I'm still stuck on the last one. Maybe I'm too tired. It's getting annoying.
Umay sa comment section, puro nalang 'ships'. Naaawa ako minsan sa mismong artist. Gets ko naman na dapat hayaan natin ang isa't isa kung saan tayo masaya, pero minsan kasi, ang off lang.
I feel a little burnt out over a game, even though it is currently hosting an event that I would have looked forward to. :/ There is a lingering feeling that exists in not being interested in something that you love. I feel compelled to play, especially because it is a limited event, but... I have other things on my plate right now and the game does not seem like a good way to relax.
just finished watching 27 Dresses. I love the sisters' reconciliation, as well as the focus of the story being how Jane slips out of her tendency to people-please and be responsible for other people.
though, I feel like Kevin's reaction to seeing her on the aisle should have been more emphasized or more dramatic; after all, both Jane and Kevin's favorite part is exactly that.

here’s your trophy for surviving today. i’m proud of you. i know it hasn’t been easy but you’re doing it. keep going. you got this.
what they don’t tell you is that it’s okay to be totally lost and not know what you want to do or not know how you feel or not have anything figured out. it truly is a one day at a time kinda life.
Remember to ask the employer what documents you should bring for your first day, right after they send you an email of hiring. 🥹
do me a favor and plz reblog with your five most recently used non-face, non-hand, non-heart emojis
the time will pass anyway, make it count.

not to be all "these two words will change your life" or whatever, but I promise you, programming in "good catch!" as your response to people correcting you/pointing out errors or whatever removes so much friction from interactions, and comes with a delightful happy meal toy of "not hating yourself so much for making mistakes"
I use "I stand corrected" a lot. The mild silliness of the outdated language makes it work for me.
I had a high school science teacher who would say "if you admit you're wrong and change your mind..." and the whole class would respond back "... you aren't wrong anymore!"
And when a kid would assert something incorrect In class, he wouldn't tell them they were wrong, he would help lead them to the right answer and then when they admitted/ accepted the new information, he'd say "now we're both right! Nice work!"
For a bunch of gifted kids whose identity and reputation often was staked on knowing more than most people, it was a great safety valve. No shame in making a mistake, because if you accept it you have learned! Now you are smarter! It always made me feel better.
I cleaned and reorganized my space. It is frustrating to me that there are things that I cannot simply sell or throw away, so I had to accept that the best possible organization I will do has to count everything in. I just have to position them in ways that provide better space.
That's what I did. The area smells like the cleaner I used, but that's fine. I'm satisfied. :)
