on the same topic of money scams that we in america are burdened to its fucking hilarious how you can get your student loan interest rate lowered by a whole 1.25% by paying by bank account + now by enrolling in autopay and its just like. cool. so you prove that your organization DOES have the authority to do that in the first place but you still want to claim that "the government controls the interest rates, not your servicer"

insurance is a fucking joke man. i was late to paying my premium and had to pay it intermittedly so all that was "past due" was $121.00 and my insurance company has a grace period where for 3 months they can't do any weird stuff or cancel your plan if your payment is late. Can someone for the love of fuck tell me why I logged into my account and the past due suddenly became $431 within 7 days?

(btw this is not asking for any financial help. I am broke but I need to just vent this out before I try to handle whatever tf is going on this upcoming Monday)
