A faux bow was given at the mention of culture, the implication that the company he kept was worthy of note–well, who was he to counter? Why would he? The Caster in Purple, Duke, had some interesting ideas, and from what he heard his stamina was insane. Possibly a perk of being a Servant, he assumed, though he partly thought that it may just be Duke himself.
Was it his natural charm, or was Oroitz really so eager for someone to share in vices he would usually be overabundant in that he was willing to sell himself from just this short conversation? Regardless, it should be fun! He couldn’t see this going south, so to speak, not when they wanted the same thing.
“Tight leash, hmm?” An echo for himself, as his mind wondered to his own Servant. His Archer gave him sass back, no one could challenge Ardere in terms of aversion to fun. The Master hummed, obviously forced and for colour as if the act itself was pleasurable, it was just to make it seem as if he was considering it all. Not that it fooled anyone, not that it was intended to fool either of them. It was just how Oroitz was.
“As far as you’ve seen? I hadn’t thought we were that hidden, though I suppose no-one stands around and watches us.” It was then that his accented tone, that jovial smile, shifted into something else. He was with another who shared similar sentiments, he could openly expose more of himself. The smile upturned, almost perverse in nature, was accompanied by the look in his eyes shifting too.
“Would you like to know what she’s like? What she desires, covets?”
With humanity all but incinerated in its nigh entirety, it left so little entertainment in its wake. The Heroic Spirits who populated this place called Chaldea were far too honorable for his tastes, and many more or less loathed his company in favor of ideals and standards. How utterly predictable and disgustingly boring. Surely they knew that this second chance was not one to be squandered by such paltry concepts?
They were given form, and way to carry out that which they could not before death stole them away. It was only right that they enjoy the lives that they have now, to drown in debauchery and indulge in every possible sin before their time on Earth came to an end. That was truly living, and it appeared that Duke was one of the few people who understood and appreciated such a thing.
“So you claim to know her true colors, do you?”
There’s a hum in the young man’s tone, his face deceitfully angelic, just as it always has been. Amusement dances in his golden eyes at the prospect of hearing more, of knowing the sin that the seemingly pure Tessa hid away. His lips curled that much more at the corners, his smile beginning to borderline a smirk. Perhaps taking a stroll out of his room and risking a lecture from the aforementioned woman was worth it after all, he’s finally found something worthy of interest.
In fact, he’s already looking forward to future conversations with this man.
“Color me intrigued. Tell me, then, my good sir; What is it that gets my dearest Master hot under the collar? I had never thought it possible, with how frigid that ice queen is.”
