Gloria of course remembered as well. And who ever said she wasn’t a good actor, huh? She could win awards for keeping her cool.
A hand went down Robin’s body, along her chest. “And you’re just as cute as ever,” she said teasingly as her hand moved to grope her through the fabric. “Makes me wanna eat you up.”
“You got it.” She was more than happy to get at the zipper, pulling it down and pulling the dress up and over her head. Once Robin’s dress was gone, Gloria leaned back to get rid of the shirt and skirt she’d been wearing.
“There we go.” She grinned down at Robin. Of course she was wearing a pink, frilly lingerie set with a push-up bra. “I would’ve waited to put this on buuuuut I had a feeling we’d get here right away.”
"It's so cuuuute." Robin's fingers immediately started tracing the details of her bra. Remembering the time they posed for a photo shoot and she had to try so hard not to just stare and oogle her... Now she could do that all she wanted. "The color fits you so well too. Much better than the ones the agency sticks you in."
Her hand continued to toy with the fabric. Running a finger along the lacey edge while also teasing her cleavage at the same time.
She lead Robin over to the bed, a king-sized monstrosity with about a million pillows and the fluffiest comforter known to man.
“Of course. For instance, getting to relax on this literal cloud.” With that, she gently pushed Robin to lay down, climbing atop her. “Since it’s just us girls, how about we get rid of some of the layers, hmm?” She emphasized that with a wink.
A few giggles slipped as she fell back. It really was soft, felt like she was sinking right in. "Might need a little help with those layers." Her face was flush as lifted her back from the bed, pressing up against Gloria. Luckily she wasn't wearing anything too complicated or fancy. "The zipper on this dress is always so hard to reach myself."
“Exactly,” Gloria said with a warm smile, leaning down to catch her lips in a kiss. “And since we have no plans for today… why don’t I help you really relax, hmm?”
The way she said it did have Robin's heart racing a little. Rubbing her hands up and down Gloria's back as she returned the kiss with a few more. "Sounds like you have something in mind." Wouldn't surprise her if Gloria had been planning quite a few ways to relax with the size of this place.
“Hey, we both deserve it,” she said with a laugh, leaning to press her forehead against Robin’s. “I know we can just disguise ourselves and go out in public, but I want some time with just you. That’s who I fell in love with, after all.”
That got her cheeks turning red, quietly wrapping her arms around her as she nuzzled their noses together. Robin often felt like no one ever got to see the real her. Always wearing different masks for everyone. Gloria got it though. She knew what this sort of life was like. It was nice to have that relief when they were together.
"Mmm, even when I can look past your magic, I still enjoy getting to see you with my eyes."
"Exactly. And there's room service 24 hours a day, so we can order what we want if we don't feel like getting groceries and cooking." Their bags had already been brought up while they were checking in, so they didn't even have much to do. Gloria reached over, gently tilting Robin's head up into a kiss.
"But we do have some spa time booked tomorrow."
Her wings fluttered as she smiled happily. "Ohhh, you really have set up a lot. I feel so spoiled." She reached over and ran a hand along Gloria's cheek. "I'm just happy to have this time with you. Just the two of us with no schedule holding us back."

It had been a while since Gloria got to spend time with Robin. After everything had settled down between the events on Penacony and Amphoreus, she'd contacted Robin to see if she was up for a little vacation.
The hotel room was large, with its own kitchen and hot tub. As soon as they got in, Gloria couldn't help but giggle.
"Sooooo I realize it's probably overkill, but I figured we both need a little time out of the public eye, so having everything we need here made sense at the time."
She glanced around the room, taking it all in for a moment. "I suppose I can't blame you. The less we have to go out the better." They were both used to disguising themselves and going to little out of the way places. Even before they were dating, it was just a skill they picked up out of necessity. It could also be very exhausting. "Much more of an actual vacation if we don't have to worry."
"One where the inhabitants are one with The Beauty, of course," Argenti said, and he was gazing off into the distance. "The most beautiful planets are those where the people are both kind and passionate. They seem to be few and far between, but they exist."
"Right, right, of course. Only the best will do." Considering he had devoted so much of his life to The Beauty, it only made sense he would want to live somewhere surrounded by it. "Can't say I've been to many places that fit all that. Then again, I don't always get to explore the places I perform, so maybe they were."
He was clearly enjoying the drink, wrapping his free arm around Robin when she leaned into him.
"The most beautiful places in the universe, of course," he said. "There are still a handful of planets that celebrate Idrila the Beauty. While as a nomad I cannot stay in one place too long, if I were to settle down, I certainly have a list."
"Wow, a whole list?" She giggled. "With how much you travel, I imagine you've seen many beautiful places over the years. I'd love to see your favorites some day." The met because of his travels, but they also made it difficult to line their schedules up. This time around it wasn't the best circumstances to be meeting... yet she was still greatful.
"Hard to picture you settling down though. What sort of place would you want to live?"
He raised his glass, clinking it against hers. “To a bit more peace and beauty in the universe.”
After a few times drinking from the glass, he said, “And perhaps we can schedule a time to meet when we have more freedom of movement. There are a number of places I would absolutely love to visit with you.”
Robin leaned into him, holding her drink in one hand while the other toyed with his hair. The red was such a striking color and he always managed to keep it so soft even in times like these.
"Oh? I would love that." Traveling with him must be such an illuminating experience. Getting to see the universe through his eyes. "What sorts of places do you want to go?"
“If I were truly to give you every bit of affection I felt you deserve, we’d never leave each other’s arms.” He gave her a radiant smile as he sat, just watching her. “I did encounter quite a few interesting drinks during my stay in Penacony. And quite a few interesting drinkers.” Like the man who was perpetually vomiting a rainbow.
"Aww, how regrettable we only have a few hours then." She laughed as she stirred up both of their drinks. "Promise these drinks do not have any adverse effects. In the dreamscape they can make people float, or cry, get sleepy. Anything you could tune to."
Taking a seat beside him, Robin held out his glass. "A toast to a successful battle and this moment with you."
His eyes drank in every detail, lighting up more and more. “What luxury. It fits you quite well.” He turned back to her and pressed a kiss to her cheek. “A drink does sound fantastic, though I’d say I would like to do whatever it is you think would help you relax after such a long battle.”
"There is this one drink I've been having lately that's so refreshing and helps clear my head." He was a little tall to return his kisses, but she did give his arm a squeeze.
She made her way over to the mini bar to start pouring carefully into cups. "Watching others mix drinks always looked fun. Penacony has such a colorful variety. I'll make you one too so you can try it." Turning to him, she smiled. "Then I fully intend on lavishing you with affection to try and make up for our lost time."
